I am filing a complaint against this company for the following reasons.
I am currently going through a very ugly bankruptcy proceeding which I am a pawn in the middle between CRA and BDO.
I was sent a notification over a week a go that I had to pay back the climate action incentive plan of 293. Payable immediately. I called CRA for an explanation, the explanation I received was they didn't file my income tax form properly by omitting the pre bankruptcy form as well. Since then I received notification that they want the GST payments back, and missed out on the double GST benefit and the Trillium benefit yesterday. BDO say they are looking into things but I don't believe they are, if i didn't mention to them about the paybacks that CRA requires they would not be concerned at all. I have sent many emails stating my concerns I they don't seem to care.
      I ** ** * **** ********** ********* ************ * **** ***** ** **** ***** ** **** ***** ******** **** **** ****** * **** ********* *** **** **** ** ** **** *** ***** ** *** ******
All I get from them is " Unfortunately there is nothing we can do." But fortunately for them they have me between a rock and a hard place in which any action I take is detrimental to my file.
Well I believe they do have an option..they could refund my last payment of 180.00 and I would repay when/if I receive the missing benefits.
What I am saying is I feel I am not being treated fairly and demand restitution because this is not my fault. I sincerely hope you can help me. They just don't care how fragile my financial situation.
My trustee at the Ottawa office on **** Street is. Louise L.
**************** I believe she is only the middle person between me and others who are treating me like this.
I have no other options left, I hope you can help me. They have all the corresponding messages needed.

Update - November 15, 2022 - I received an email today from BDO stating basically I should call my MP if I don't like it. They admit blame, take no responsibility for it and leave it to me to find a solution .

In 2015 BDO was hired to complete three sequential, delinquent tax returns for 2012, 2013 & 2014. For the 2014 return BDO entered the wrong RRSP contribution limit on my tax return. In 2016 while reviewing the tax returns completed by BDO. I noticed some spaces on the 2014 tax return were left blank. The proper data was not correctly referenced. The root cause: The written instructions on the tax form were not correctly read and followed. Unable to obtain a satisfactory response and resolution from BDO, an independent third party review was completed by certified accountants. The review looked at all documentation from the ***, BDO and solicited a response from the responsible BDO accountant. Due to the pandemic, this took an extended amount of time to complete. The review disclosed, in addition to the 2014 tax return, the 2013 tax return was also completed incorrectly and the BDO accountant in-justly blamed me for these errors! Before hiring BDO I set up a RRSP based on an outdated Notice of Assessment (NOA). BDO used this same NOA in their computer program to generate the 2013 and 2014 RRSP limits with no verification. For the 2014 tax return I trusted BDO had entered the correct RRSP numbers so there was no reason to change anything before this return was submitted. The consequences from this was fines and penalties set out by the ***. Countless hours were spent trying to figure out what went wrong and trying to deal with the ********* BDO work. I sent a letter with all reference documents requesting a meeting with corporate BDO dispute resolution to discuss: 1-the ********* work on two out of three tax returns, 2-the ********* BDO accountant blaming me for the errors BDO made 3-the evasive responses from this ********* BDO accountant 4- negotiate a satisfactory resolution. BDO’s response is they consider the dispute fully addressed. The ‘address’ they refer from the same BDO accountant that subsequently blamed me for the tax return error BDO made.
