      Mortgage payments being taken out a day before due date and/or 2 payments withdrawn at the same time. When attempting to contact to rectify, needing to wait several weeks for contact. When contacted, no apology and instead met with a late payment penalty due to their error in withdrawing funds prematurely or over tye agreed amount.
      Therefore funds were not available at time of withdrawal. What then occurred when mortgage matured is foreclosure proceedings even though there was no outstanding mortgage payment. **** ** ****** ** ***** **** *******

      RFA Bank Management has completed a review of your file, and we can provide you with the following response/narrative as to what has occurred;
      • Due date issues at funding:
      o We do not have record of altered expectations for the payment date. In review of closing documents, there was a delay in closing due to your law firm. Original documents indicate a closing date of April 29, but ultimately, the data sheet and final commitment indicate a funding date of May 13, with the first monthly payment due June 13.
      o Our payment history confirms that the first payment was debited on June 13; this payment ran in our automatic batches, per normal process - however, your bank could have debited it as of midnight.
      • Client contact:
      o Our records indicate outbound attempts were consistently made:
      - Welcome Call Attempt: May 24th, a message was left to call back to review the account details.
      - 2nd attempt: June 17th, no answer and other phone number on file was invalid
      - Contact Made: June 20th, arrangements made to client satisfaction and half the fee was waived, and a payment due date change was completed and confirmed.
      Our records do not indicate any payment being debited early, or out of line with agreed upon dates/amounts for the payments and payment due date change requests.

      ****** ** *** ********** If you need any kind of documentation or want information about your mortgage, they make it incredibly hard for you. I was told that I could not receive the information and payout for my mortgage without a lawyer, additionally if you want to make extra payments they will not accept your funds; you must provide documentation of where all the money has come from. I have NEVER had this problem with any of my other mortgage lenders. They use this as a way to make it harder for people to made additional payments on their mortgages or payouts. They are not user friendly and have poor customer service. Lesson learned on this one the hard way.
