      Purchased a hat at shop, immediately after making payment, I found that the hat had defects, the staff required either my email address or telephone number with my last name, otherwise no refund or return could be made, I asked the reason why I needed to provide my personal information, but no reply

      I won a $100 gift card last year and I went to the store at ********** Mall in Windsor, Ontario on February 12th, 2024.
      I tried on a few sweaters and one of my earrings fell out which I had only realised on the way home.
      When I got home, I called the store and spoke to the Store Manager and told her that I’d be coming back to get it. There was no specific date or time that we spoke of.
      I went back to the store on February 19, just a week later ONLY to find out that she had THROWN away my earring BECAUSE I didn’t go back on the same day that I called. She was so **** when speaking with me and stated that she “assumed” because I had not gone back that very same day that she could discard it.
      This earring was made of real rose gold with a precious stone, not a piece of costume jewellery. This earring was a gift **** ** *** **** *** **** ** *** ** ***** * *** ******** ** * ************* *********

      I received a defective waffle top online- one sleeve was longer than the other . I showed pics and they said it was wear and tear lol lol lol
      I’ve never even worn the defective top . What a joke ! Terrible customer service . Won’t buy again from Roots

      ****** ****** Terrible company to work with. I was sold a flawed purse that leather became hard and crinkled after being in a shower of rain. I also had a roots back pack which got rained on the same day and was fine. When I went to ask for a replacement, they told me I had done the damage myself and said I could replace the purse for a courtesy gesture with %20 off. Are they crazy?
      The laugh is on them though, because every year, we spend thousands of dollars on roots gift cards for our office staff Christmas. We will not be investing another greedy unreasonable company. I now have no choice but to drag this through the small claims report and warn others fo their policies on as many platforms as I can. ** * ***** **** *** ***** * *****

      Hello
      I had ordered 7 items from the roots website but haven't received any of them. The tracking details show that the items were delivered to my mailbox. But on checking my mailbox there was no package.
      The customer care is taking very long to provide any appropriate information.
      I am worried for my money $441 which I have spent also the investigation period is being told for a long period which I cannot wait for. So you need to provide any resolution before that or else provide my refund to the source account.

      there leather products quality is so worse, when I called to complaint they said nothing can be done against those.

      Trying to get a refund after a cancellation on their side is a joke. 10 days and still waiting. I should NOT have to beg for my refund. I have emailed repeatedly to no avail. Terrible customer service as no one will answer me back.

      Online ads are not correct Showing sale price of $63,74 on $98 item and saying 25% off
      @5 % off of 98 is $73,50 They were not able to tell me what the 25% was off of, This is the same for just about every item Talked to an online person and they were not able to understand it either just said that is the price Seems to me that their advertisements are miss leading.
