      We were scheduled to pick up the keys which was the closing date. When we arrived at 3:30pm, the workers are still inside the house.
      Kitchen was very dirty and dusty, standing shower door wasn’t fixed and many other items on the PDI wasn’t finished.
      We left one key to the person who we were meeting with because the house was not in move in condition at that moment.
      which was a big disappointment and un acceptable neither. Buying a house and moving is a huge challenge and this gives us additional anxiety.

      For two years and still going Mattamy Homes in Milton Community has failed to deliver its service. It the worst builder that we have been dealing. For example there has over 7 visits to fix a patio door issue, and still going. The paints is well grade , even a handy man would have done a better work. Their garage door is so low grade that a garage opener is bending the metal frame inwards, a total 250 issues with real defects was submitted. Could not been worst. Thing before buying a Mattamy house for the price you pay, not worth. Authorities should work together and protect customers interests rather that business.

      I am an appraiser and I went to a Mattamy homes development in Milton to do an inspection of a house. The house was not yet registered with MPAC because it was new. There I went to the site office to request a copy of the floor plan with the floor area on it. The staff at that office were extremely rude with me to say the least. They asked for I.D, even though I had already been in the house in question. They requested my business card. When asked for the floor plan they told me "No" right off the bat. When I told them that I had requested floor plans from other Mattamy locations in the past with no issue. They told me they would ask their supervisor and get back to me. In less than 30 seconds the gentleman came back to the door and informed me that they couldnt give me that information. I tod him that I would ask the client (purchaser) to request it and left. As I was driving home, I got a call from the client requesting that I call the site supervisor, because he wanted to talk to me. I did so. The site supervisor named Dalton, was extremely passive aggressive with me. He asked me which bank I was with. He told me how he never had an appraiser request a floor plan. Also, he wanted to give me the information by text message. I told him that I needed a phsyical document, as I couldnt take the word of a guy that claims to be the supervisor. I think it's extremely unprofessional for a builder and their employees to give an appraiser; someone helping to arrange financing for their product a hard time. I dont think an appraiser requesting a floor plan is abnormal. The way I was treated reflects poorly on the builder.
