    I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with GlobalStay. I made a reservation via their website, which showed the price in CAD, and I promptly completed the payment and received a confirmation email. A few days later, they canceled my reservation, claiming the displayed currency was incorrect (it should have been AED) and said the cancellation was due to this error on their part.
    Despite numerous follow-ups and reassurances from their team, my payment of CAD 1,927.97 has still not been refunded after several weeks. Their dismissive attitude, lack of transparency regarding their refund policy, and repeated delays have caused significant inconvenience and disrupted my accommodation plans.
    Adding to this, they proposed rebooking the reservation at an additional cost, which is both unreasonable and unacceptable, as the cancellation was due to their own system error.
    GlobalStay’s handling of this situation shows a complete disregard for customer rights and raises concerns about their professionalism and transparency. I urge other consumers to be cautious when dealing with this company, as my experience has been one of broken trust and unresolved financial issues.
    I hope this review highlights the need for GlobalStay to take accountability for their errors and provide the service customers deserve.

    Terrible experience. Stayed at ** ******* ***  They made me send in my photo with my passport and give them my credit card for deposit. Daily they would stop by with staff to clean my apartment while I was just making breakfast for no reason without warning and weren't able to communicate with me in English and were upset I told them I didn't need cleaning and I wasn't ready for them to enter my apartment. I then had a package delivered that they lost. I told them the name of the employee that had signed for the package and they told me they had no such employee. I then proceeded to the front desk and found the exact employee they said didn't exist and she spent nearly an hour and finally found my package misplaced in a back room. Then on the day we checked out, ** ******* was sick in the bathroom so I told them we needed 15 to 20 minutes to exit the apartment. They told me they would need my exact time that I would exit the apartment and that they would charge me $30 for 30 min. Then the cleaning lady still appeared right at checkout and entered without my permission. I told her ** ******* was sick in the bathroom and she refused to leave and also demanded the key ** ****** *******. I told her it was with ** ******* and she told me to go get it. * ***** **** *********** *** **** ** ** ** ** *** ******** ** ******** *** **** *** *** ******** ** ** ** ***** *** *** ** **** ****  Then when we finally left, I recieved a nasty note with a ********** claim that there was smoke damage and I owed them $280 in damage. I let them know that ** ******* *** I didn't smoke. And they simply replied, "I'm sorry you are upset that you damaged our building". ***** ******** ********** ****** **** *** **********

As soon as you pay, they email you asking for $500 damage deposit, + $500 MORE if you have a pet, and THEY WILL NOT REFUND THE MONEY. **** ***** ******* ******* **** *** **** **********! THEY OWE $1000 even though we **** ******* ***** ** **** *** documented every single bit of damage as soon as we walked in. Now the manager has blocked my number and refuses to pay me back! ****** *** ******* ******** *** ***** **** ** * ***** ****** ******* ***** **** *** ** *** ***** ****** *** **** **** ****** *** ** ***** **** *** ****** ******* *********

    I stayed with Global Stay August 9-11 and it stated In the contract that my 1000.00 refund would be issued 7 days from check out and it's 15 days and I have not received anything then I notice a charge of 22.59 for and assessment fee which is mo where in my contract called about that and did not receive and response. So if you have a month or more for Global Stay to keep your deposit then this will be a great fit but if you want your refund in 7 days as stated in the contract then ****** ** *** **** ******** Still waiting on my money??

    Recently stayed at a global stay in Down town toronto and was very disappointed in the exit of that stay as well as the follow up of not being able to contact anyone or have anyone reach back to me other than to say they were charging me 70 for a cleaning fee. They did send pictures, but two things, one My daughter and I didn't touch the things they said was dirty, toaster and cupboards, as well as they sent a picture which a bunch of bags all spread across the kitchen floor which weren't ours, nor did we have those with us plus the floor was clean when we left. They either mixed up our room with another and we are getting charged or they wanted some cleaning money and sent in a picture of another apartment that was rented. Either way, I responded to there email asking to discuss and that I disagree, also called them for over 20 min and couldn't leave a message , so texted them on the number they gave and they refuse to answer, If they wanted cleaning money they should just add as an extra charge and tell clients instead of making up **** and not answering any kind of correspodance. How would they feel if I sent them and charged them money for something they didn't do then didn't allow them a chance to dispute the charge. Very shady group and will never stay with them again over this. I don't mind if someone tells me there is a cleaning charge, but don't make up **** to get money from us after we went to great lengths to make sure everything was clean after ourselves, we even texted because we put a bag beside the garbage and was unsure on that process, they texted back and thank us for letting them know.

I have had several email exchanges (as they do not answer the phone number they provide- ***** *** *****. They acknowledge they will honor their emails, but they do not. ** * ***** **** **** *** * ********* ***** ** ***
