Just moving to another city cost us as much as our international move overseas. Cost aside, we have so much damage and there’s not the slightest effort for any compensation. They don’t wrap stuff, just fill boxes and close everything with plastic tape. So crockery and breakables were broken, and we found indelible remainders of tape everywhere. Book shelves without shelves or plugs, deep dents in wooden bed and chairs, living room cupboard shelves without the frame, ripped books from storing on the soft side, they forgot to empty out a whole closet, and a cell phone was missing. Also, the movers damaged the wooden floor and freshly painted wall in the stairwell in our new home. We’ve been trying to raise an insurance claim via the insurance that movers are obligated to have. We have submitted our claim to Fluent, but a year has gone by now and our communication stays unaddressed, despite numerous follow-ups. They claim to be part of the Canadian Association for Movers BUT they are NOT. The CAM has confirmed that Fluent is not registered with the CAM (their website indicates that they are, but this is not true). ***** *** ******** ******** *** ** **** **** ***** *** **** ****** *** *** ***** ** ****** *** ******** **** ****** *** ******* ******* *******

  I used Fluent for the move of a studio apartment on May 24, 2022. The process of arranging the move was complicated from my side by last-minute changes with elevator access made by one of the landlord. Fluent was able to adapt to those changes, which I was grateful for. The Movers arrived right in on time and were professional, fast, careful, and pleasant. I would use them again for a future move.

  I have used Fluent Moving & Storage twice, and both times were excellent moves. Excellent in all area's! Dean was great to work with in rate discussions, scheduling, and arranging for packing supplies. Their moving team was on site promptly (if not a couple of minutes early), they were efficient, and hustled to have the move- out completed within the allowed elevator reservation time, and they were polite and extremely helpful. They asked questions on anything they were unsure of, and offered assistance if I was struggling with something. The move-in was the same - efficient, with no issues. I had no damages whatsoever, and everything went off like clockwork. **************************************************
