      Capreit in London Ontario is terrible. They have been shutting off the hot water WITHOUT notice on a regular basis. Sometimes for a day or 3. Building security is terrible, cleanliness is terrible and management? Absolutely the worst.

      My family has lived in the same building for over 15 years and never have we dealt with such terrible management. My family and numerous others have received letters multiple times accusing us of lease violations or claiming that we owe money and demanding we pay it or else we'll be evicted. Our rent has gone up and we now have to pay for water and trash but the quality of living has not improved at all. In fact, they've gotten worse with multiple break ins to our mailboxes and nothing being done about it. I've heard complaints from so many other residents saying that they're being threatened with eviction for non payment despite it being illegal to evict people who received rental assistance due to covid. And when ************* representatives tried to contact management to verify the payments, management just straight up ignored their emails and continued to threaten eviction. It's **************** to be trying to cut corners and wrongfully kick people out of their homes while we're still in the middle of a global pandemic. I thought that ****************** was a bad company when they managed our building but Capreit is by far the most headache inducing and unreliable company I've had the displeasure of working with. I'm also going to be contacting our state representative and the Department of Housing because what these people are trying to do is just disgusting.
