    **** ****** Work never got done. They make arrangements to come out for install and don't show. They missed the deadlines in their contract and when asked for deposit back was told no, they had already purchased materials for the job. Delay after delay with this company and no accountability to their customer. Spoke with a VP through this ordeal and they then tried to pass the blame on to me and that I had delayed the project, this was due to the government grant, which in their contract states delays don not include the government.
    Went to small claims court and was granted judgement, they have yet to pay the deposit back. Now on to the next steps to try and get my deposit back.
    It is a shame that as a consumer you can be granted your money back through the courts and the company can decide not to pay. ** *** ***** ***** ** **** ***** **** ***** *** *** don't follow the details of their own contracts.

    I had a really good experience with Solar-X. They give you an all in price and stick to it. This includes all the permits and inspections needed to do a good job.
    The knowledge of the team was great. Mine was a tricky situation and they found the right location and the technology to deal with a pesky tree shading a spot for some time in the mornings.
    Recommend highly.

    Gabriel was a huge help in guiding us through the project and ensuring we applied for all grants etc. During installation, the site was left neat and tidy and the electrical was done by an efficient contractor. We were happy with the project! We can't wait to see how much solar power generation we have in a year.

    Our experience has been very disappointing. After talking to them for 2 years, we are finally done and backing out. We are now fighting to get our deposit back from them. They have misdirected us with the electrical advice, costing us extra that way, then they couldn't get anyone and then they send us another guy who gives us different advise from the first guy. They just stand back and tell us it is our problem to get the electrical sorted out - this is after we specifically told them they should send an electrician who knows about solar and the requirements as we are NOT THE EXPERTS. I can tell you that they are NOT THE EXPERTS either.
    We did solar in our last home in another province and the company managed it all *** ** *** **** ** ** ********** ****** ****** * **** ************* ** ****** ** ****** ******** ** ***** ***** ** ** ***** ***** ** **** ********  Zero support and if you change your mind, they aren't willing to reimburse. **** **** **** ***** ***

    I cannot recommend Solar X enough. The process of having the system installed was really smooth. After 4 months of power generation we are 20% higher than expected. They made it super easy for me to understand* ** ******* *** ** ** ********** ******** ** **** thoroughly impressed

    I had a very disappointing experience with SolarX. I signed a contract and paid the company at the beginning of the year. My roof and electric panel were in perfect condition, and there were no delays on my end. The weather was also mostly favorable where I live. Despite fulfilling all my responsibilities, the company, which had stipulated in the contract that installation would take place before June 2, still has not installed the solar panels. There is no obstacle preventing the installation, but whenever I email them, they offer one excuse after another. * ** **** ************ *** **** **** ******* **** ****** ****** *** **** ******* I am still perplexed as to why they do not honor the contract. *** *** ********* *** **** ** *** ******* ** ******* *** *******. It is also strange. It is July since no installation took place

    They are excellent at communication until you sign your contract and pay a deposit, after that- good luck. We had our system installed five years ago, it took several months of missed deadlines on their end before we finally got up and running. Since then our system has been iffy- the app that is used to track the solar production is super slow, glitchy, and not user friendly at all. With the amount of time and energy I have spent trying to coordinate any kind of service with these guys is ridiculous. Our optimizers continuously fail- and while they were initially pretty good about having replacement parts sent, having those parts installed has always been a huge issue. Most recently we have had more of our system break down and they have not responded to requests to replace the most recently failed parts. Our system is totally offline now and we will probably end up having to find another company to do the repairs. At this point I am beyond done with Solar X. ****** ***** ***** ** ********** ** ******** * ****** *** ****** ******* ********

    I had a really good experience with Solar X. My system has now been installed for almost 2 years and it has been flawless. I had signed with another company but they kept changing the price *** **** *** ******. The pricing from Solar X was similar but the equipment quality was leaps and bounds above the competition. *** ********** **** *** ****** *** ***** ****** **** ***** * **** ****** *** *** ****** ** ** ***** Cannot recommend enough, *** **** ***** *** ***** ******* ***** *** *** ********** ******** ** **** ** **********

    Dealing with Solar X is painful. ***** ****** **** ** ** **** **** *** **** *****  The missed their deadlines consistently, and all communications from them stopped after paying the downpayment.
    I tried repeatedly for months to reach my project manager after they didn't show up to install when they said they would. 3 months later, still waiting for them to give me a revised install date. 10 months after signing up, I'm seriously worried they are going to miss the 12month deadline. They do not communicate with their clients despite emailing them, leaving voice messages and texting them. Nobody ever answers the phone, even their after-installation support phone number. Solar X is not recommended. ** ********* *****

    Process took 18months. Speaking to anyone who knows anything is extremely difficult and I even got forwarded to an employee who doesn’t work there anymore.
    At the end of the day everything did get completed but it was a less then ideal process and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone * *****
