    October 6 2024 after trying my regular garage for a belt I thought was dry I booked my car into Action automotive ***************************** Ont I had to wait to following week fir the work. I was told its a transmissionnissue, they arranged a rebuilt in the area it turned out to be no good so next a used transmission from ************ warranty . I was already to pick the car up on Nov 15 700 more on top of 2600b which zero got done so I did pay 1 000 and the owner or **** mechanic different p working said no payment t job is done but I pd . I always pay my bills. The 15th the transmission went in on Monday I show with ***** to pay my remaining 1600 plus **************************************************************************************************************************** I demanded to know where my carcwas headed. On **** ****** employee ***** had argument about the car they said they tried programing it and it wouldn't due to the used transmission being bad. I didn't pay cause it is bad and it got returned the owner said no charges so I offered to buy pizzas. It was decided on Nov 23 to send my transmission in to be repaired. I'm ill after having heart surgery and its needed for medical appt. My car insur don't provide a rental only in accident so they going as well The repair could be another two weeks not good seems I'm getting run around why I'm not ***** ***** with folks here. I have spokenbto the court the shop, I will pay but I want it fixed . If not done by next week will hire tow truck to go yo another garage. Doesn't seem right. It's plated and insured. I know I can ******** aware and know how to file Thx *******

    November 04, ******************************** for a noise under hood. Investigated and found that is was a pump internal to the transmission. Gave customer options. Go used, rebuilt or do nothing as it still drives.Recommended not doing repair and getting rid of vehicle due to overall value of vehicle not being worth the repair. Customer decided to go used as the purchase of a new vehicle would exceed the repair cost.


    November 05, 2024 Action was able to find a used transmission through *************** and it was quoted to customer. Customer gave go ahead. *** said it would be delivered by Thursday (Nov11, 2024)of the same week. Customer gave go ahead and gave $1000.00 deposit without it being requested.


    November 06, 2024 Customer called and came into office to discuss vehicle and see if transmission came early.

    November 11, 2024 Customer called to discuss vehicle and see if transmission came early.
    Transmission did not arrive and when a call was made it was found that the transmission was not available as someone had put a transmission back in the system that in fact just a core (Product returned for potential rebuild). Advised customer we would have to find another used transmission, have her current one rebuilt, or we could still put original back in. Customer insisted on moving forward with different transmission.


    November 12, 2024 Customer came to office to discuss potential repairs. A transmission was found at ***************************. Price was discussed with customer as it was more expensive than previous. Customer agreed. Transmission was ordered from ******** auto parts with a delivery date of November 15, 2024


    November 13, 2024 Customer called to discuss transmission repair progress. Customer advised she had called LKQ to address issue.


    November 14, 2024 Customer called to discuss transmission repair progress.


    November 15, 2024 Customer called to discuss transmission repair progress. Informed that transmission had arrived and would be installed.


    November 18, 2024 Customer called to discuss transmission repair progress. Advised transmission was being installed. Advised customer that starter casing had a crack and was replacing at no cost because of timing with first transmission for customer relations. No money was requested at any point for the starter.


    November 19, *********************** to discuss transmission repair. Advised that transmission needed to **** Dealer for programming as it was required. Customer called dealership and confirmed. Vehicle dropped at dealership who informed customer and ******************** they would get in the first available slot, but were busy, so could not give exact timeline. Vehicle towed to dealership. Advised customer would not charge for tow to dealership as I was trying to work with her and have given a quote without a tow.


    November 20, ***********************to office to discuss transmission repair. Customer called Dealership to see if was done yet.


    November 21, ***********************to office to discuss transmission repair. Advised customer that the dealership could not get the vehicle to drive. Tried to program. Tested transmission. Transmission was no good. Woodbecks was called for replacement transmission. They could not source another transmission. Customer was advised customer we could put old transmission back or rebuild at ********** transmission. These were only two options left. Customer was given pricing for rebuild.Customers had good experience with Belleville transmission and were very interested in the rebuild. Sent original transmission to be rebuilt at ********** Transmission. Customer called ****** dealership and accused of doing something to transmission. Customer would later call and apologize to dealership. Customer was well advised that wait time for transmission would be 2-3 Weeks before they got a look at it at ********** Transmission. Customer was ok with this. Advised customer there would be no need for communication until transmission shop got vehicle in.

    November 25, ***********************to office and discussed transmission repair.

    December 1, 2024 1:30am customer calls and leaves a lengthy voicemail. Called and left a second message minutes later.


    December 4, 2024 Belleville transmission called and let me know they had made some cursory calls and they could not get parts to repair the transmission and. I would need to find an alternate route as they could not help me.


    December 5, 2024 Sent employee to pickup original transmission and started making some phone calls to see if we had any options left. Customer came in mid morning and hands letter to service writer, indicating a paralegal had wrote for her, informing us that we needed to put her original transmission in and would like her deposit back. Customer would not speak to service writer.


    December 5, 2024 Customer put complaint forward to **********************.


    We put the original transmission back in vehicle and returned her deposit. This was never not a problem and we never said we would not do as such. Customer received the vehicle and deposit back in their possession. Not sure where the complaint is exactly as we never once argued with her or refused to do as she requested. Customer sent over a pizza and pop thanking us for our work on this project.
