      Buyer beware! I dealt with ****** ******* at Trent Travel over the phone and was terribly mislead.When I called to book a vacation I was told that there were no vacancies on the beach that I requested except for the sketchy one I was booked into at a premium price. I was advised to take it, as it was the last one available. After checking the web there were in fact many vacancies at a much better rate with much better reviews.I was also told that the only direct flight leaving was on January 16th, when I requested one anytime after the 17th. There was in fact a flight on the 19th.I was then advised to purchase cancellation insurance and that I could cancel anytime up to 3 hours before my trip. There was no contract sent to me before my credit card being charged to clarify the terms, or any mention of a credit instead of a refund.I feel that ******* tactics to earn a commission are very misleading if not outright deceptive.

      The client was asked to send a summary of her transaction to be reviewed. No summary has been received by ************************* is my understanding that she was asking for a departure from ******, so that is the basis the agent was providing her information on. ************** has significantly fewer options than other airports like ******* and *********Apparently, over the weekend, she was able to find better options out of ******** (hence additional options). She apparently booked another package through ******** on her own and requested to cancel the package booked with the agency.She had included in her package Sun Wings Worry Free Waiver which permits cancellations and changes as per the waiver terms and conditions.The terms of the cancellation waiver with Sunwing is a future travel credit, which she has received.Client provided her credit card for payment of the package. Payment of the package in full was made directly with ******** . Full payment was required at the time of booking the package as it was considered last minute.Since we have not received the requested information from the client to review, we consider the file closed as of now with Sunwing issuing her a future travel credit for the cancellation.
