I purchased an A/C from *********** it was contracted to Ideal Home Comfort. *** from Ideal Home Comfort came to take measurements and discuss the **************** He told me that the price includes Free 10 Year Parts and Labor Warranty. He wrote that on the Agreement as well. I paid $5531.35 for the 2 ton A/C and its installation.A year from the installation, *** called me and asked if I wanted an inspection. He also told me I must have the A/C inspected to keep my Labor Warranty, and I must pay $120 per year for the inspection. (SO that is $1200 for the duration of the warranty period!) I told him that it was never communicated with me that a mandatory annual inspection was needed to keep the "Free" warranty. He said I would have received an email about this from his office last year. However, I did not receive any email. He told me to contact ******* from his office.I called and requested ******* to forward me the email they had sent me last year. However, they could not find any email that was sent to me. She sent me a brand new email with a Warranty Certificate. It clearly says :A copy must be provided to the customer at the time of purchase", which they did not. ********** mentioned about the costly inspection every year. Instead he promised Free 10 Year Parts and Labor Warranty, and wrote that on the Agreement. Moreover, when I mentioned that to him over phone, he called me names and behave very disrespectfully. He disconnected without finishing the conversation and then never picked up my phone. I want a quick resolution of this matter. It is a breach of contract by offering Free Warranty and then charging money for it. Therefore, I want a refund. I also want an apology verbally/in writing- from *** and the company owner.P.S.: I can share ***'s hand-written Agreement on request.

I spent 40+k on 2 systems between 2 houses with this company. After they installed it, they started to ignore my requests for help, became hard to reach and gave no labor warranty on hardware even though they maintain it yearly. Over winter our very expensive heat pump from ****** froze and start giving errors about it. I contacted them right away and their solution was just to switch system to emergency heat and run our house heating off propane which costed us hundreds of dollars every month. Then in spring when snow thawed, we found out that ice freeze/thaw cycle broke the pump, coil, damaged walls of the unit...etc. Of cause they claimed no responsibility for this and tried to charge me full price for labor repair on the unit because they said it was animal damage... Right, apparently we have super squirrels and mutant chipmunks that bend metal... In my attempts to communicate with them, i was outright told by their staff "**** will not call you back because he is too busy. Wait."... So take your money elsewhere unless you enjoy this sort of treatment.

Ideal had installed heatpump at my house.  Number of issues happened:

      1)  They failed to register it with ****** and i lost 5 years of parts warrany on the pump because if dealer does not register it with ******, they only give you 5 years.

      2) Over winter, defrost cycle failed and i notified Ideal immediately.  They have ignored the issue and told me to simply switch to emergency heat so i had to burn propane all winter.

      3) In spring, pump had thawed out and we found out that coil now broken by ice freez/thaw cycle.  Ideal is refusing to take responsibility for it and claiming that yearly maintenace was not done hence they voiding labor warranty.  They do send person here every year, i pay money, i have tracking for money transfers and receipts.

****** agreed to cover the part, but Ideal trying to make me pay for repair, refrigirant, etc.  Warranty on a pump will expire in September because they did not register pump and i will be stuck with the pump thats installed too close to ground with no warranty.  I paid *****+ for it 4 years ago...
