      Very disappointed with the service and faulty products given.
      I was happy with my previous water heater and I was tricked by the sales agent to get Simply smart water heater installed.
      My costs went up from 28.5 a month to 35.59 and this year they again increased the rate by another 6% (they say its part of the contract you signed)
      I was given a complimentary door bell which stopped working after few months and when I called was told they will charge 99 + tax for the service agent to visit. They don't care of customer satisfaction and I was told to write review if I was not happy.

      They charge $14,000.00 for a unit that cost $4,500.00 and lock you in to a 15 year contract. In my case they double billed for March 2023, it is now July and it has still not been resolved even after sending over multiple copies of bill's proving the double charge (Which, according to them, "they do not have access to") My account has never been delinquent or past due yet the customer service agent (maniger) accused use multiple times of "not paying the bill" as the explanation for the double charge. As they can't see the bill I did ask if I should be getting in contact with ******** in regard to this matter and was told " no pay the bill in full and we will credit you", however 3 weeks later when I once again asked if I should contact ******** I was told yes. So which is it?.... ******* **** ******* ** *** **** ******** **** *** * ******* *** **** ** *** ***** *** *** ****** ****** *** ** **** ****** **** ** *********** **** *** **** ** ******** **** ***** Now thier switching to auto billing and are requiring void checks or account information so that they can just directly take money out of an account for the bill. The way I see it is if your billing dipartment can't get this resolved in 4 months why am I gonna give you my account information so that you can just go into my account and take out whatever you want? Oh and it's $5 for paper invoiceing.... there isn't even a paperless email option unless you do auto pay.

      Worst Customer Service - Hidden Terms & Conditions in the contract
      Request everyone to please go through terms and conditions of renting out any equipment or services from Simply Smart Home. I and my friend for 2 houses on Edenbrook Hill Drive Brampton rented the water heater in 2020 and since then it's a nightmare for us. First there were installation issues in my friend's house - water seepage happened in the floor tiles of Laundry area. Second - they told us bill will remain at 49+taxes for entire contract period which now stands at $63 and as per customer service it will keep increasing every year. Third - Once I complained about water heater not working and it took them 3 days to respond - this is their general response time. Fourth - I came to know today that I am in contract with them for 18 years which their agents never walked me through contract terms. In last 3 years they have done the service of the equipment just once whereas initially they had mentioned servicing every 6 months. I again suggest everyone PLEASE READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH SIMPLYSMART HOME. They have many hidden terms the agent will not let you know. ******** *****

      **** ******* ** * ***** Be aware of what your sales person here is telling you verbally compared to what is written in your contract. After being with this company for 2 years, we've come to find out they put us on a 60 month contract and have been charging us for a ****** **** thermostat, which was originally offered free of charge if the home protection services were obtained. After 2 years of subscription and poor customer service we wanted to cancel and they pulled up a contract which states the ****** thermostat is to be paid for. This ****** **** comes to $480 remaining (47 months of a fraudulent contract never discussed) and additional $100 for admin. $650 for a ****** **** thermostat that was given as a free offer to sign up with them initially. Customer service and billing are possibly in another country because they don't comprehend what the issue was, instead just kept repeating the same thing. No manners or knowledge to escalate and issue to upper management for better resolution. Simply (not really) just said they will not cancel until the balance is paid. When I asked about the unit's (****** **** thermostat) price the customer service rep "had no idea" as per her words, what the unit is or costs, all she could do was read a contract. Be mindful of this company's contracts as they mention something in person and put you on a contract without your acknowledgement. All the reviews stating good work from the technicians relates to just the technician. Majority of these people are in for a surprise when it comes time to speak to a representative over unrecognized fee's and charges. Goodluck to anyone's interested in this company as a service provider. There's a reason why ******** no longer wants to associate this company under their brand and billing, do the research friends!

      I signup for 15 years/monthly payment contract for HVAC system. They(SimplySmartHome) assured that I can cancel my contract within 10 days without any charges if I am not satisfied with the service and my old HVAC system will be installed as it was previously.
      From the next day of installation I am facing issues and asked them to cancel my contract but instead working on my complain they started monthly deductions. I've sent 4 reminder emails and still following up for my refund and old installation but there is no reply.
      Now I am not sure how to trust this company, and how to get my refund with my old unit installed?

      Brendan installed the Camera in our home on 30 April 2023 - he was very through and has deep expertise on the product knowledge which he shared with. We were highly satisfied with his high level of customer service. Brendan represented Simply Home very professionally and friendly and would certainly be repeat customers *** ***** *** ******** as a result of his high level of customer experience.       It was the middle of February and all sudden I had no heat. I called the company that was responsible for my furnace and they sent somebody out. When he was checking out the furnace he realized that the common maker in the furnace was not sending a signal to my **** thermostat. He says that he doesn't carry **** thermostats in his truck so he put on a standard Honeywell. I told him that I'm paying for a service for my **** thermostat and he said it wasn't in his records. Later on I realized my plan was with Simply Smart. I called them explain the situation and they sent out a technician. As soon as I showed him the parts that the other technician took out he said he knew what the problem was. He says the common maker that was taken out of my furnace mostly causes problems and he said that I do not need that for my thermostat to work. He took out the new thermostat and rewired my **** thermostat and it was working in no time. Thank you Yury, for being so knowledgeable and professional.

      I have been a customer of Simply Smart over the last two years. Recently I needed a service call as my Simply protects stopped working. The company provided the requested service call on the same day. I had a very helpfully, friendly and professional technican that came to my home and fixed my equipment. He also helped me to ensure the devices were connected to my phone and everything was working. As a customer of Simply Smart over the years and requesting service call for the first time, I was happy with the service I received. * **** ****** ********* ****** ***** ** ** ******* *** *******

      I thought of alerting everyone about our woest experience with Simply Smart Homes Inc which was notoriously known as ****** ***** earlier !
      It was a wrong decision from our side to have even entertained to talk to Simply Smart Homes Scouts and Door to Door Sales Persons Bhavesh and Daaniyal on 23 January, selling Furnace and Tankless Water Heaters and service contracts under the pretext of giving ****** **** cameras in Whitby ON which is not even allowed as per the laws of Ontario Starting March 1 2018, which doesn’t allow prescribed products and services to be sold door to door. I am having to make a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario, as they came to our door and forced / Rushed us into a last minute installation just 2 days prior to our 10 days cooling period of another Furnace company, and by observing the Total Cost of Equipment mentioned in the attached agreement, it has a huge mismatch and Furnace is amounting to $ 14,550.00 + $1000 as multiple other charges plus HST whereas the cost of this New Furnace **** or ****** ***** : which I confirmed is just $3800 plus HST in Big brand stores like **** ***** etc. we have warned their Customer service in Vaughan and asked this Fictitious fake contract to be revoked and immediately send their Contractors to Uninstall / remove and pick up this Furnace and Tankless Water Heater from us at the earliest alongwith free ****** **** camera given, being used by them as a bait without any penalty or installation charges to be paid by us as it is only the 2nd day today that we came to know about their ********** operations
      Please never fall into the trap with Daniyal, aka DAANY ALI, their sales guy who claims to be Hvac technician too. He will over promise and under deliver.This guy won't allow us to call the previous furnace company to clarify the terms &conditions & promise us that he will take care of everything, but the next day, he denied it and said their company policies changed.

      My 5 year contract expired on October 1st and yet they billed me once again on November 2nd. I had called twice leading up to the expiry yet when I talked to the **** **** *** ************* person on the other end of the phone she said I had to “officially” notify them. WHAT???? It’s a frigging lease agreement. Soooo…guessing I’m going to have to eat another $95 monthly charge due to this ******* company that always defers to their small print contract…I haven’t looked nor was I told that it was part of the agreement. ***** ********* I demanded an email follow up confirming our conversation and yes I did receive it.
