    Maple Asphalt company came by my house in May . I agreed to pay him $9000 to do an asphalt driveway for me. After the job was completed I paid him the full amount. He guaranteed me there would be at least 2.5 to 3 inches of compressed asphalt. I was told not to drive on it for 10 days . After waiting 13 days I drove on it . The asphalt marked and chewed up almost every time I moved a vehicle . I spoke with Jimmy and he told me to email him pictures which I did. He then text me saying they would replace my driveway with a new driveway . After not hearing back I emailed him again, asking when he was going to do it. He emailed me back saying they would do it Aug. 4 . A few days prior to that I tried contacting him to conferm the date . I have still not heard back from him and they never showed up to complete what he told me he would.

    Complaint:
    On June 17, 2022 Martin was in our neighbourhood doing some driveways around the block. He randomly showed up at our house and gave us a quote for our driveway. Martin checked off ALL concerns on the contract (we wanted crushed stone to be put on, and it was checked off to do if needed). We signed the contract, which offered a 5-year warranty. They brought all their guys, trucks, machines, gear and got to work right away. Once they had already started the job, we realized they weren't even removing the old asphalt and putting down gravel. ****** *** **** ** ***** **** ********* **** **** *** ****** *** ***** **** ***** ** * ***** **** ******** **. I went to John who was just sitting in his truck while his guys did all the work and John said that gravel isn't necessary and there will absolutely be no cracks due to the warranty, that they've always done it this way and their customers were please. I voiced my concern with the LACK OF STONE once the job was done. John was very persistent and confident in his business that gravel was completely useless and there won't be ANY cracks. The total amount we spent for this job was $5,000.

    Not even a week passed, and there were already MANY CRACKS in the driveway even though their company guaranteed that there wouldn't be any. Our old driveway had cracks which made sense for this to be our top priority when hiring them. The driveway is UNEVEN on various areas of our driveway. We emailed pictures to Maple and voiced our concerns. They responded right away and agreed to come back on August 2 to fix it.

    Today is August 3, 2022. They didn't come yesterday. We even called them many times throughout the day yesterday and left voicemails. They are not answering their phone or emails. We even drove to the listed address they have online and it's completely VACANT. We're not sure what our next steps are as their contact info isn't very helpful to us at all.
