    I sent a deposit of $820.38 for a 1.1kW wind turbine on Oct 30, 2023. Delivery of the turbine was said to be 3 weeks after the deposit was sent. The turbine was was built and another payment of $4926.42 was sent on Dec 17, 2023. The turbine was received about a week later. The shipment was missing the charge controller as well as the weather proof box with fuses and rectifier. When I asked about the charge controller they said it was on back order. I received the controller the end of January but the weather proof box and rectifier were not with it. I asked about the recitier and was told they assumed I didn't need one because this was replacing a turbine that failed. The weather proof box with fuses and rectifier were on the invoice I had paid so I never saw the need to request is specifically. They shipped the rectifier and that was received the end of February. It was shipped without the weather proof box or fuses. Those are items I paid for and never received. As soon as I unpackaged the unit I noticed damage to the threads on the shaft of the turbine and that the shaft was very hard to turn. Wire connections also came apart while inspecting the unit. I contacted Borrum for guidance and offered to repair the unit (I am a licensed electrician and instrument technician **** ** ***** **********). I also asked for an explanation on why the shaft was so hard to spin. I was talked down to and treated like I had sabatoged the turbine. The explanation I got for asking why the shaft would not rotate was that we recieved the same generator as everyone else. I felt like my only option was to try and repair this unit and install it to show them something was wrong and that it would not work. Replacement parts showed up and I reapaired the unit following their procedure. The unit was installed on the tower and did not work as it should. It took wind speeds over 3 times what I was told was required for the blades to spin. They asked me to take it down and preform extensive testing and recording of the generator windings. I did as was asked and sent the results in. At this point I felt as though I done everything possible to try and make this work and requested a replacement unit. They said it was under warranty and asked me to ship it back to them. They said if the generator itself had been opened the warranty would be void and they have the tooling to make that determination. I have not shipped is back as I feel as if I am being set up for them to deny warranty. I only did the work they asked me to and followed the procedures they sent me. It has been over 4 months and I have over 80 emails back and forth trying to resolve this. * **** **** * ** ***** *** ** *** **** **** ******* **** ************
