    ***** inquire, reminding the sales woman I'd be picking up the bike the following weekend. She looked into the matter while I was on hold. She came back to the phone telling me there was a problem with the rear shock. I told her not to service it, just put it back on the bike. (It was maintenance, not a repair.) Then ***, the owner came to the phone. The shock was sent out for service (I knew it was) and was damaged. The sub-contractor blamed ***. *** blamed the sub-contractor. Neither would/will take responsibility Result: shock irreparably damaged and no longer made. Therefore, a substitute needed to be found. I travel during July/Aug with my bike. *** assured me he would have me riding (my bike or loaner) by my departure. Through May/June *** claimed to be searching for a replacement shock without success. He did not provide me with a loaner bike for the summer. In Sept 2021 I contacted the bike manufacturer. The rep contacted ***. The rep advised *** on how to find a replacement shock. Now more than 1.5 years later, *** has not secured a shock or fulfilled his service to my bike. My bike sits in BW unusable. *** at Bicycle World has: -NEVER called or messaged me - I've had to chase him countless times for information -suggested that I search for a replacement shock -suggested that it was my fault leaving the bike with his shop knowing the shock service was sub-contracted -not lead me to believe there will ever be any resolution
