    I have used the Maple Call services to call ******* for many years.shortly before **** 2023, we received a message stating that Maple Call will no longer provide this service after **** 30, 2023. As soon as we received the notice prior to **** 2023, we went online and closed our account. Despite that, Maple Call wants us to pay $14.95 for **** plus another $40 in late fees. This is extortion and I do hope that you will be able to assist with this.

    Please note that we have received the complaint and we're extremely sorry for any inconvenience this might've caused. 

    A total credit of $29.79 has been applied on the customer's account on 12/7/23 and the balance on the account is now $0.00.

    Please find attached the Account summary and Adjustments screenshots that reflect the credits applied one the account, the notes our representatives wrote in regards to the complaint, as well the account status being inactive.

    It is true that the business provided a credit of $29, but I was threatened with Collections and felt obligated to pay $25 to avoid dealing with Collections. As I have told Maplecall during the many times I spoke, I was a loyal customer for many years, but they cancelled the service I was paying for - direct calling to *******. They forced me to pay after I closed my account online because I had to call them. I paid $25 for no services in order not to be referred to collections and deal with that headache - felt extorted by a business to which I have been a client for many many years and to which I have provided my credit card and always paid on time!

    To Whom it may concern,

    Please note that **************** has been contacted in response to the previous reply rejection. 

    Customer stated he did not agree to pay the total of $25.80 but would've agreed to pay $13.04 for the latest invoice. 

    Since the payment of $25.80 was already made, a partial refund of $12.76 has been issued on customer's card ending in * 2038. 

    Customer agreed to close the complaint once the money were refunded to his account.
