    I paid Meloche Windows a total of $14,726.73 for 2 separate contract jobs. Contract 1 (#*****) new patio door, remove other room patio door & replace with slider ************** garage door. Contract 2 (#*****) installation of new front door with side light and storm door Feb 13/23 scheduled to quote jobs & showed up at wrong house. Reschedule 2 weeks later April 23/23 - contract 1 completed. Siding on house was a mismatch of sizing and an awful layout. Behind new drywall not insulated enough, left a large gap between that and existing wall. Cannot be mudded enough to make a flush wall. Had to come back (months later) to re-do siding. Didn't complete insulation around entire window therefore come winter my 2 year olds bedroom had strong gusts of cold air coming through Contract 2 completed July 19&20/23 I wasn't home during install & they tried to force me to sign financing contract before I inspected the work.Nov 2023 lock fell off storm door. Asked for repair. It took them 3 attempts. Between these attempts (a whole month), I noticed the front door was sagging and letting in lots of cold air. Caulking cracked.Dec 3/23 I again asked for repair Dec 18/23 showed up to take pictures, no repair Jan 3/24 I emailed & asked to speak with owner. No response Jan 4/24 showed up unannounced after 3 weeks no contact. Removed one side of trim ****************** (messy) and left with sun shining through the side, told me it was ok. Following day I called repair person to say cold air is still coming through. Told me he didn't like my weather strip Jan 9/24 replaced 1 side weather strip. Door still not sealed properly. I complained of top hinge being bent door still crooked & gap between frame. He took pics for owner Jan 24/24 went to office to speak with owner. Told she's been busy downsizing building & that's why she has never responded to my complaints. Reception emailed owner my long list of ************************* 30/24 emailed asking for update. No response

    I ordered two windows for my home August 9, 2022. Order No. ******. October 2, 2022, one was installed without issue, however the second window would not open or close without difficulty. Installer said he would be back. After many unreturned calls, I have resulted in this method to get a replacement window installed as the original window appears to be defective. I have medical issues and require constant circulating fresh air, and this is not allowing me to have that.

    This complaint from ****** ******** was resolved on November 8, 2022.  Meloche Windows Ltd. performed service at the customer's residence and resolved the customer's issue. 

    The scope of work performed included the following:
    1 - Remove the caulking and capping on both sides.  Remove the insulation, screw in the center on both sides, reinsulate, recap.  Test the window's locking system.  If satisfied, re-caulk.
    2 - Refill nail holes on the jambs for both windows and paint the area.

    Customer signed off on work completed and service complaint was closed.  If needed I can scan and send in copy of customer's signature.
