I've been paying my car off with this company since 2018. They were first named ****** * *********, then they changed their name to Carma Auto Finance. Early 2023, they sold a bunch of their customers to another company called **** **** Finance, and I paid off my car through them. I had gotten my release letter from ****, and I thought everything would be fine until I realized, it was was Carma who had to report my account paid in full to the Credit Company. Ever since Carma sold some of their customer to ****, they have worked fully remote, meaning they no longer work in the office. They're hard to get a hold of. ** *** **** have called them so many times to ask why they have reported my account closed, **** tells me they can't get a hold of anyone. I call all the people who worked with Carma, some of their phones are disconnected and when you call the main line, the phone doesn't even ring, it just goes straight to voicemail. I've left a bunch of voicemails and they haven't called me back or emailed me once. It's almost a year since I paid my car off, and because of Carma, the loan is still lingering on my credit report. I** ***** ** ****** *** ****** *** trying to see if I can get small claims court involved. ****** *** ******* **** ****** **** ***** *** *** **** **** They ignore you calls and emails, and you can't even go to their office, because no one works in there anymore.

when Carma auto finance found out i was trading my vehicle in, they put a lien on my car. They claim i owe nsf fees on outstanding late payments. i have made all my payments, sometimes litterely a day late as they could never work with my paydays. they claim its $1800 over 3 years. they claim im aware of this and agreed to pay back in aug, 2022. this is not true, ive never been aware that i owed anything as they never contacted me. i recieved a letter stating i owe $1400, then a week later, i was told i owe $400+, then a week later i was told i owed $500+...i asked for proof and time to go over my banking for 3 years, they then sent me a letter threatening to repo my car. i found mistakes in their ledger and repeatedly asked why, no answers except i must pay in full the payment. they then sold my contract to **** **** *******, with the same ******* employee is now working with **** appearently. the car sold to me was also a lemon. It has been broken down last winter and this winter. It has been in the shop numerous times for the same problems. they are also aware of this and continue to harrass me. they have now caused 40+ hard inquiries on my vehicle as i have been trying to trade it in and get through the whole process untill the end, with this type of horror. this is been aweful!
