      I recently had my driveway paved by Primo Paving. The contract for this work was signed in November. The work was to be completed in May or June, as indicated on the contract but a specific date was not set. When the crew arrived to begin the work in May, (unscheduled), I told the representative that I did not have the money to pay in full, but expected to have the money by the end of August. I was advised that no payment was needed until the work was completed. The work crew returned on June 15th to finish paving. I again said that I would not be able to pay before the end of August, however the crew finished paving that day. I believed based on my discussions with the representative in early May and on May 15th, that we had an agreemythat the full payment was to be deferred until the end of August. I did not hear from Primo Paving until I contacted the representative on June 15th to make a partial payment. At that time, the representative demanded that this partial payment be made in cash. I said that I felt safer paying by certified cheque, email money transfer or a money order, which is the same as cash, but more secure. The representative told me to set him to pay with cash in 30 minutes or he would tear up my driveway. I was not refusing to pay,, so I would like a written apology for the threat that was made. I would also like a written business receipt for each payment when it is made, for tax purposes. Thank-you.
