    On September 29 decide to go ahead and fix my car with Twisted Classics with a quote of $3742.62 to fix amount of hours quarter to finish. work was only 13 hours of labour needing to be done, I stated payments to be made also a deposit of 2700 was asked forwhich is more than half for Work to be started as ongoing paid as stated 1530s September 23, 2024 October 29 $660 November 8$870 November 20 $900 After paying these amounts was asked about update on car and was told no work will be performed until car was paid off and full payment December 18 of 2024 paid 880 then was told my car was going into the shop again that week as of all the were ordered two weeks Ago and were waiting to be picked up at the warehouse after paying 880 on December 18 was told a couple days a day A couple days later I called to check in about the car and was told it will not be going in until after Christmas break New Years as that stands on January 15 paid 145 and was told again that my car did not make it into the shop due to it to be dug out of the snow moving forward a week later called and did an update. Car made it into the shop that day Icalled and was told its up on the hoist Fast-forward to January 30 called to see if Car is done as I have not heard from them and to be picked up and paid remaining $269.62 was told it will be at least another two weeks. I got very frustrated and upset and demanded to have my money back and my carwhich I was refused, police were called by Twisted Classics because of the way I spoke due to this incident further speaking with Officer ******* Arranged to pick up my car and the remaining parts and the money owing showed up at Twisted Classics to receive my parts which were not all accounted for and was told the parts I was given on January 30 just showed up that morning, but before was told all parts are waiting at the warehouse a month or so prior to this also did not receive my money back for labour that I paid for that was not performed on car

    Our response to this: ONCE WE RECEIVED DEPOSIT PAYMENT IN FULL OF $2700 PARTS WOULD BE ORDERED

    Our Response: HE DIDN'T PAY MONEY BEFORE THE QUOTE. SO THE FIRST PAYMENT WAS OCTOBER 29TH $660

    Our Response: LABOUR WAS DONE ON THE CAR, HE DOES NOT GET THAT MONEY BACK. WHICH IS ALSO WHY WE WAIVED THE REMAINING $269 BECAUSE WE WERE WAITING ON OTHER PARTS AND WOULD HAVE DO MORE LABOUR ONCE WE RECEIVED THEM.

    Our Conclusion:

    The client called 2-3 times per week and was never satisfied with the progress on the vehicle. This was a rather large project and would take a long time to get the parts and pull the car apart to fix it.

    After he took the vehicle back, the contract is complete, and the officer that was here to mediate told him the same thing. Regardless of this, he continued to harass us, by calling 6 times within 4 minutes, leaving irate voicemails and emails.

    We have done everything he has requested within the contractual agreement that he signed. He just wanted his vehicle done in a timeframe that was unreasonable, as there were other clients that had paid prior, and we had in the shop before he paid his deposit. Those customers come first.

    This client backed out of a signed estimate, meaning the entire job is null and void.

    He does not get any money in return, as he forfeited his deposit, by halting job and taking his car back.

    We waived the remaining balance in good faith and to allow the tow truck to take said vehicle off property, legally.

    If out of all this can I just please have the ecu and wiring harness and we can just move on and go forward please that is all Im asking for now and will let this go considering I did pay for it and that was the first part that was received for my car

    A Police report (# E250121549) was filed due to his threats to us and the business by him. And we also have voice recordings.

    I took my classic car to twisted classics after agreeing to a quote for a motor change. Its a 1986 Montecarlo SS, cruise night/show car. Dropped it off june/20/2022. Told it would take a few weeks, as time went by I would ask for updates, and always got different reasons for delays, but was patient as I didn't want a rush job. Almost 1 year later May 26/2023, I received a text that car is ready. When I arrive an inspect the car, I notice the car is very dirty, and see some damages. He points to the drivers side fender and says that was him, the fender cover slipped off while working there, and that he took $500 off for that. I show him the rest of damages, scratches, scuffs, broken rear spoiler. I quickly look at the new motor and see some issues. I'm obviously very upset and need to leave before I say or do something I may regret so we go into the office and I get the bill, he takes another $250 off for damages, and says the transmission may slip, but will work itself out. Was a stressful drive home as transmission was slipping, car was not handling well. Once home I thoroughly inspect and clean. There were loose bolts, frayed wires, gear selector shows neutral when in drive, the hood was not aligned and rubbing on the fender, there's a fuel leak at the new pump, he charged me for a new radiator as discussed and reinstalled my old one. All tires were very low, only 14 psi in the front. I call back and talk about the problems and mention he should of never let me take the car like that as it was dangerous. His only solution is to give him the car back so he can address the issues and access the damages. Says he will reimburse for the radiator($650+tax). I can't give him the car back after all this. A week later he asks for my email to refund the rad, but still hasn't. He also was to supply the motor, I was charged over $800 for repairs on top of the price of the motor.
    I have recently found out he has done this before to others. I have documented our conversations.
