After many complaints about noise why’ll driving in cold weather. Nissan found my drive shaft on my 2023 Nissan rogue needing replacing, but it is on back order and was told it maybe as long as 3 months to get.
We are leaving on holidays in a few weeks, Feb 17th
So we need to find other transportation as Nissan only cover $*** inconvenience
I was told other deals have a number of them in stock but will not let them have one
Cannt believe we are on the end of the list

    Complaint ID ********

Nissan Canada has recognized this issue on model year 2023 Rogues. There is a known issue with the drive shaft bearing making noise when the vehicle is operated in very cold temperatures. Once the bearing has warmed up the noise goes away. Moose Jaw Nissan has diagnosed the client's Rogue with this known issue.

Nissan Canada is developing a drive shaft and bearing that will potentially alleviate this issue in the colder climates such as Saskatchewan. The development of this new and improved part is done and is in the beginning stages of being available to our parts departments. We expect to see the superseded part to arrive at the dealership in 2025. The available parts that the client is referring to in the complaint is the same part that came on the vehicle from the factory and will likely produce the same noise during cold operation as it has the same bearing and is the same part.

The client’s vehicle is safe to drive. Nissan Canada has not issued a stop sale or recall on the vehicles that are using this drive shaft. The newly developed part is only going to reduce the noise under cold operation.

I am rejecting this response because:

well at best I have now have in writing though you that they believe it will not give trouble and we can drive the car.

    this car is a LEMON

    1) this car will at times stick in lower gear in drive mode (D) on dash so on Hyway tach will be at 6000rpm and max speed 60 km per hr,if put in are heated garage overnight it will work fine the next day ( not safe on freeway)

2)seat heater passenger side doesn't always work ( dealer can't duplicate and there lost to fix

    3) door locks don't always work( dealer says says has to out side interference not fixable

4)heater fan sometimes dent work (dealer reprogrammed still same, changed blower motor having driven enough to fine out if that works

    5) manual cruise fixed once still working

    6) adaptive cruise only works for a few miles ( dealer says they haven't worked since 2021 model Nissan still working on program to fix , no date in sight for

    a fix

    7) radio comes on once in a why'll by it self ( just turn to low doesn't bother us

    8) GPS at times doesn't work

    9) seat memory driver seat goes to back position when I start car( I push memory button each time after I start car, works only that way seams remote tells it to go back to getting in position as soon as start button is pushed

I am not sure why we have to put up this car

    Sincerely,
