    I called APEX plumbing & heating mid 2023 to a resident for a tap issue. It was on a weekend and granted the rate is always more. The tech was very pleasant. He spent 3 hours at my house and ended up not solving the issue. Did not cap any of the water lines off for a temp solution! Left my taps dripping worse than before- & 7 months later I then received the invoice for his efforts, but very shocked to see almost 600.00 dollars on a bill that did not solve my issue nor make it better. Note At this point I felt ripped off because I was never at all told a dollar amount for showing up or rates that would apply. After I received the invoice 7-8 months later and was shocked. I then called to inquire why so much! The lady had the owner call me back and had an instant defense attitude with me. His name is Jon Stewart! Rather than breaking the bill down and explaining to me why so much in a professional manor, he went into you need to pay this bill now or its going to collections, still not left with any understanding why the bill was so much. Apparently on a weekend rate you have to pay 3 hours min which I do not think is true as per calling other companies, he said even if they are there for 5 mins or 3 hours problem solved or not and (*** I do not know if this is true cause it makes no sense***.) pay up and screw you attitude followed after by the owner. I paid the bill in full. Please avoid using them and go elsewhere. I will never again recommend APEX for any jobs or maintenance contracts. He will lose more than me in the short run. KARMA!
