I had four rings stolen from a jewellery cupboard that they moved. Total value would have been approx $10,000. I filed a police report. I phoned the company and they said they would look in the truck for the rings… of course they were not found. And that is it! No offer to pay for any of it or even discount my move. He was basically uninterested. So disappointed. The one diamond ring was my wedding ring. So disappointed!

I’m very sorry about all of this! We should have gotten back to you, and offered to pay your deductible on your insurance claim. Is it $1800 you are asking us to reimburse?

On Aug 17 & 18 your employees packed and moved me to a new residence. In the process there were damages to some of my belongings.

The TV cabinet was damaged when **** missed the 6in step at the door and fell along with the cabinet. The hinge area at the bottom of a door was damaged and when the door is opened, it dangles, then is hard to close. The backing was also broken in several places. **** said he wasn't hurt. I hope not.

My antique hanging lamp, which was primarily made of glass, was never wrapped and packed in a box. If I had been in the living room at the time to see him carry it out, it would not have gone unwrapped or I would have said I will take it myself. Oh if only!!!

The night table had a strip of veneer broken off, which **** found and gave to me. Hopefully I can repair it when I have time.

There are numerous other things which I have noticed and taken pictures of: Finish on corners of the frame of an expensive **** ***** picture, paint scraped off the day bed, and the outside wall of an antique dresser pulled away from the frame.

One other thing, on Aug. 18, my Realtor and I had reason to go back to the house. We opened the kitchen cupboards and found half a doz. cake plates and other dishes still on the shelf!!

Being expected to give them a tip was another thing that didn't sit well with me.
