      I bought a 2006 ******* ******* from Mitsubishi in 2009. They offered a powertrain warranty for life program that I signed up for. I maintained my warranty by returning for regular service. On Monday march 4 2024 my timing belt went on my car. The timing belt is part of the powertrain component. Mitsubishi says they lost my contract and won't honour the warranty. I have all my service records. Mitsubishi says the repair would cost $3500 but offered me a $300 cash settlement or $2000 off the price of a new car. I countered with the option of providing them with a working engine that they would install into my car. Eventually negotiations broke down as they continued to charge me on labour costs for addional items. At this point I demanded a $3500 cash settlement which they are not willing to pay

He was late or missed certain services which make him ineligible.
