    We were approached in our yard by an Irish sounding man who explained F Weber Paving was working in the area and could repave our driveway at a discount and asked if we were interested. We discussed the possibilities and told him we’d think about it and would give him an answer in a couple days. We had further questions so asked if he’d return to discuss and he did. We decided to move ahead with the work and agreed on the price which wouldn’t be paid “until we were satisfied with the job”.

    The date was scheduled for the following week. They were to come by on Tuesday to do all the prep work and then return Wednesday morning to complete the job. They didn’t show up Tuesday, they didn’t do any prep work, and they arrived Wednesday morning and rush through the job in 1.5 hrs after telling us it would take them 4 hours. They didn’t do the prep work we discussed such as removing grass, topsoil, and replacing with packed gravel and base. They literally laid asphalt over unpacked soil in some areas. Immediately after completion the Irish man returned for the money and wasn’t leaving without it even though we had no opportunity to inspect the job or see how it would stand up over the first few days/weeks. The forecast for that day was calling for rain and when we questioned how that will impact the quality of the asphalt he said it doesn’t matter.

    The asphalt was still very soft even weeks later so being cautious we didn’t park on the driveway in the first month as the asphalt was so easily depressed.

    We have grass and weeds growing through some areas. They didn’t transition the asphalt at the garage door to the garage pad and the asphalt is already breaking away.

    We contacted them about the problems that have so quickly arrived and they agreed to return October 7/24 to repair or replace as required. They didn’t show up and won’t reply to our inquiries. ***** **** ** *** ****** ***** ****** *********** ********** ***** **** ******* *** ******* ********

    ***** and another rep came multiple times over a week to try and make a deal to asphalt my driveway. They repeatedly assured me applying over concrete was fine, that I would not pay until I was happy, and confirmed I would get 70% rock chip coverage. Service was booked for Sept. 10. When crew came to prep Sept. 9, I needed to provide extension cord for their tools, and I built my own forms around flowerbeds. No adhesion applied. Four guys came at 830am next day and did nothing until 1pm when the asphalt truck finally showed up. I left for 20 minutes, when I returned they were finished and the equipment was packed up. I immediately stated it was not what we agreed on as I was explicitly clear about the look I had wanted, and had shown photos of what I didn’t want it to look like. A test spot was supposed to be done but wasn’t. They told me it was because I was gone. The rock coverage is blatantly inconsistent. I pointed out my hose being dragged in oily puddles, so a “boss” followed me around yelling and swearing. He told me he would take $**** off the $**** quote when my contract was $****. Another “boss” swore at him ** ****** along with ***** who I had asked to speak with. When I raised the concerns of insufficient rolling/tamping, uneven areas, lots of loose rough spots, a hump and trench by garage and front step (that fill with water), bad finish on end by sidewalk ,etc., they didn’t care. I felt threatened by their hostile nature so paid $**** with the understanding that someone was going to come back that day to make it right. They never came, and left pile of concrete on public sidewalk/street. I tried calling with no response (full voicemail), only snide/rude unprofessional text replies still indicating they would fix to my satisfaction, but have had no contact since. The entire thing needs to be redone as it looks terrible, is already crumbling, peeling off and isn't sloped properly.
