  Invoice states 10 yr. guarantee against leaks. Experienced water instrution as early as Dec 8/2020. I have numerous photos of the problem. The owner returned 3 or 4 times to look at the problem. Once they were paid it was difficult to get them to return and resolve the issue. I felt that they would come and try to "band aid" things hoping I would go away. I emailed the owner Jan 30/2023 advising him that i would like the issue resolved by may 15/2023, to date I have received no response!

  I have been intouch with the client. I am attending the site June 23 2023.

  I will come up with a plan to resolve the issues. 

  Ice damning is the issue as there are no leaks during summer rains. 

  I have been there numerous times attempting to fix the problem. 

  Only when the snow melts there are leaks. 

  Could be an insulation issue. Would have to get a thermal imaging camera during the time the snow melts and try to pin point the problem. The area in question is a dead valley so snow accumulates there.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  Business came and did a leak test, found where it was leaking and explained what needed to be done. Business advised he would come back to fix but so far have not heard from them and matter is still not resolved.

  I was out to ****s place and did a water test to see if we could find the leak this way. After spraying water on the roof for quite some time , no leaks were found. 

  It only leaks when there is a lot of snow built up under the eave where the leak happens in spring melt. Brad mentioned that one spring there were no leaks due to a lack of snow fall.

  So one last attempt to find the leak I sprayed the wall just under the soffit.

  Water came in immediately. 

  This was never a roofing issue after all !

  I was glad we were able to find the leak!

  I said I would be back to fix it for him.

  I found the type of material needed to solve the problem permanently over this long weekend. And was going to get it done this week of July 4th 2023.

  I will call **** and let him know I will get to it this week.
