I brought my car to get tinted the day I bought my vehicle on December 16. I dropped it off around 12pm and was told I would get the car back before closing which was 5pm, not 6:30pm. Upon completion of the vehicle, I pointed out there were deficiencies in the tint. It looked like they didnt go over their work and there was a hard particle on the rear right window. I also noticed scratches on the rear left tint. I was told to bring it back so they can redo it. Later that evening, I noticed the passenger door stopped opening from the inside because my friend could not get out the vehicle. The car is fairly new and why would it stop opening. I as the customer thought it mightve been too cold and something broke off inside the door for it to stop opening. I brought it to *** the next day and they scheduled to see me one week out (December 23). The day of my appointment at ***, it was brought to my attention that 2nd to none installed the window tints and did a poor job going over their work. *** charged me $190 because it was not due to a manufacture fault. After my appointment at ***, I brought my car to 2nd to none to address the situation. I got there around 9:30am and the lady at the front desk said she cannot do anything about paying or refunding $190 until the manager comes in during the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, I received a phone call from the manager/owner and he was confused about how I got a $190 bill from *** for broken clips. He said why I didnt bring the car back to the shop if I noticed the door not opening. *** is charging for their time diagnosing a issue you had caused. As the customer, how am I supposed to know that you guys messed up my door? I went in to get my windows tinted, not to have my door panel taken off and to have the inside door panel damaged. ***** said he will have to think about it and come up with a solution to make things right but needs to speak to his partner first. The establishment is still not giving me an answer.
