1 starAbsolutely Terrible Experience Stay Away from Chrysler Chrysler claims their technicians are certified, but based on our experience, they clearly dont know how to properly service their own vehicles. We were forced to bring our 2024 ******** to the dealership for repairs to avoid losing our warranty, yet the work was sloppy and incomplete. The windshield was replaced but still has issues. The rearview mirror keeps popping off. The camera was never recalibrated a serious safety oversight, especially with modern vehicles that rely heavily on accurate sensor and camera systems for lane assist and collision avoidance. We also now have concerns about potential frame integrity issues, which Chrysler has completely ignored. When we reached out again after the same issues reappeared, the dealership refused to help and told us to take the vehicle to a third party even though theyre the ones who caused the problems in the first place. This is the worst customer service weve ever experienced from an auto manufacturer. Chrysler is unreliable, unprofessional, and dangerous. Avoid at all costs.Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Center

Hello *****,
Im sorry to hear of your frustration with your new Pacifica and your service experience at Anchorage Chrysler. Im hear to assist and help resolve any concerns you have. I researched your service history and saw that you had a couple trim fitment issues that required trim replacement shortly after you purchased your new vehicle. I additionally saw that you had a cracked windshield that was replaced by a 3rd party glass company. I saw in the notes that some dirty smudges were left behind on your headliner and A pillar trim after the work was completed and it wasnt clear if that has been rectified. Your last invoice for the visit in December indicated that they were not able to duplicate your concern with the back up display system or find anything broken around the rear view mirror. If you are still having any issues with anything on your van I would be happy to look over your van with you and address any concerns you may have.
Sincerely

The windshield was NOT replaced by a third partyit was replaced by Anchorage Chrysler on October 22, and the job was done poorly. The mirror later detached, and the system was never properly recalibrated. When we brought the ongoing issue to their attention, they refused to provide further service and told us to go elsewhere. The trim problems were never resolved. The vehicle has been in and out of the shop repeatedly for the same recurring issues, and every time we were told something different. The backup camera and safety systems have never functioned properly since their own service department worked on it.Their attempt to twist the facts and downplay our concerns is exactly why this vehicle qualifies under the Lemon Lawand why weve filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General **If youre thinking of buying from Anchorage Chrysler**save yourself the time, stress, and money. Run.They dont take responsibility. They dont stand behind their work. And worst of all, they lie to cover up their own mistakes.Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Center

Hello *****,
As stated in our last response, Im happy to look over your van with you and address any concerns you are having, we do stand behind our work and the venders we sublet with. You have falsely accused us of lying and trying to cover up mistakes. Anchorage Chrysler does not replace windshields. We use 3rd party glass companies for that specific work (reference you invoice ******* dated 10/23/25 line 4 last line clearly states sublet glass install) We never said we wouldnt help you resolve your issues, what we did say was the glass company who replaced your windshield would be taking care of your mirror concern that happened after the windshield replacement. My offer to help is still open and available, I encourage you to take me up on our offer to resolve any unresolved concerns you may have.
Sincerely,
Anchorage ChryslerB. L.

Thank you for your response. However, your statement is misleading and inconsistent with the facts and documentation I have already provided. This case involves not only your failure to properly service and complete repairs on my vehicle, but also your repeated denials and misrepresentationssomething Im glad is now public and shareable for others to see.Your dealership specifically required us to bring the vehicle to you in the first place on October 10th, under the threat that if we took it elsewhere, the warranty would be void. After failing to resolve the issues properly, your manager outright refused to provide further service and told us to seek repairs with a third-party companydespite these issues arising directly from your dealerships poor workmanship. It seems you conveniently forgot that we have a record of your managers statements and refusal to provide service, as well as the directive to go to a third-party shop.Additionally, the recalibration for the cameras is still unresolved. This is a critical safety issue that has been ignored, further proving the subpar level of care and follow-through from your ************* glad this exchange is now online because it exposes the real, true, and terrible experience Ive had with your dealership. Its important for others to see how you treat valid concerns and how you respond to legitimate customer complaints.I welcome the opportunity to discuss all of this openly in court. Your claim that I have falsely accused your dealership is unfounded, and I am fully prepared to present clear evidenceincluding your own work orders, invoices, written communications, the documented refusal by your manager, and the unresolved camera recalibrationto demonstrate the validity of my claims. The facts speak for themselves, and I am confident that the court will see the truth and I will prevail.Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Center

1 starThe only nice thing I have to say is that **** (sales) tried his best.First, I agreed to buy a van, was trading in a car that was not with me, they said for me to go get the car while they run my financials. I went directly to get the trade in car and while I on my way back, **** (salesman) texted that the van was no longer available?? I was so upset, I asked for the manager (******) who really had no good answer. I told him how wrong what they had just done was. Then, I went in, in person & continued the conversation but he just couldn't give me an answer. They claim they are Alaska owned and been in business 60 years, I told them they don't conduct business like either one of those things are true.A few weeks later, **** calls & says they got some more Sprinter vans in. First, my mechanic said he had trouble getting the *** to engage & there was a small Power Steering leak, but the dealership assured me they double checked both and they were fine. I had a 2nd inspection done by someone else and they didn't find anything. ****** assured me they would guarantee these two things & make right if anything went wrong with them in the near future. Then, when I went to actually buy the van, they acted like they never said that and wouldn't put it in writing. They also said they had numerous keys, but only had two. When I initially gave them $500 to hold, they said it would be marked sold but then another salesman was advertising it days later? They ran my credit, did hard hits, then said they didn't know it was considered a commercial vehicle, that I would have to start over, apply for a commercial loan (why wouldn't a dealer know this?) Finally we pay ************* cards (over $50k) drive it home in the dark, the next morning see fresh paint and a bump/bend in tire. Contacted them again that someone at their dealership had obviously hit a curb, now I needed $1100 in tires, their reply was "the sale is concluded" ?????Review fromRichard W

1 starthere is not enough space to type out my entire story. I bought a 2021 ram **** from another dealer. I brought it to Anchorage Chrysler dodge for recalls and warranty work, as well as an alignment and a tire change. in the process they have lied to me numerous times, they are nearly impossible to get ahold of. I have had ******************* the director promise to call me back numerous times and not, i have had ******************** tell me he would call me back and not, i have had ***** (service manager) tell me he is going to call me back numerous times and did not, i have had ********************* tell me he is going to call me back and has not. i made appointments for recalls and they did not have parts come the day of the appointment. I have had them do half of a recall and then release the vehicle to me and then the check engine light immediately comes on. then they dont order the parts immediately and make me jump through the hoops of calling mopar. i needed warranty work for the rear end of my truck and they have now had my truck for nearly 2 months. they say they ordered parts from a dealer on November 27th and depending on who talk to arrived somewhere between 12/11 and 12/14. i have a had a couple loaners from them. they gave me jeep to replace my 1 ton pickup. i needed to move y boat so they put me in a 2007 ram **** regular cab. i got rear ended immediately in it. **** had no concern for anything, including my 4 year old, except the rental vehicle. i called immediately after the accident and they did not call me back until almost a week later. in summary, these people have the worst communication in the industry, they lie to you, they have no customer service.Review fromEsther T

5 starsWhen a mechanic had made a few mistakes with our brake assembly (humans make errors, naturally) the Service Manager bent over backwards to make it right for us. We cant control the world, all we can do is hope that when things dont happen the way wed like, that someone cares about our plight. The service manager cares!
