    We were going to take a trip of our lifetime for our 54th wedding anniversary to Anchorage Ak.Our friend, ********************* an AK resident, booked our reservation for the train trip and overnight at *********************** at Denali. Due to our drs' advice because of a vascular problem we were forced to cancel. We are aware of the 35- day policy but due to these circumstances we have tried to reach out to Alaska Denali Railway have had no luck after emails and telephone calls . We are hoping you might be able to get ahold of someone there who might be able to help us. We feel that we had to cancel through no fault of our own. We feel an exception could be made and the $1540 could be returned. As we have stated it was to be the trip of a lifetime.Our Booking #: ARR670985 and date of purchase June 7, 2024. We called to cancel on July 18.Our trip was July 26, 2024.We appreciate anything you might be able to do for ******************************** *******, Mn
