Phillips Cruises and Tours LLC May 17 Cruise I am writing to you to inform you of an unfortunate situation which was exacerbated by poor customer service. Here is full context of the situation:When we planned our travels this past year, we decided to sign up for the ***************** given the marketing and the recognition received from various agencies. The May 17th experience is inconsistent with the experience noted on their site.We departed on time, while stopped for traffic, it was clear that the driver had taken a wrong turn. The driver was very apologetic and immediately took ownership for the error. After turning the bus around the driver consulted with the ************** it was clear that we would have to return back to ********* (1.5+ hour) without this experience.Upon our return to *********, ***** from Phillips Cruises, stepped on the bus and started to talk to us.A few minutes after ***** stepped onto the bus I asked him to introduce himself and his role. He informed us he was one of the General Managers of Phillips Cruises. After stepping off the bus, I talked with ***** and soon realized he did not have the authority of a GM - inability to resolve or compensate any members, ***** did share that follow-up emails would be sent the same day.***** made a reference to a beautiful woman dressed in a blue shirt which is not only inappropriate, but in todays day and age is a cancelable comment.Given the paid passengers had been on the bus for almost 4 hours, without access to food or water, there should have been drinks and snacks offered. ***** informed ** he did not have the authority. There was a comment from a client who had traveled from *********** that they had traveled this far and spent four hours on a bus to nowhere. ***** replied, Ill come to ** and ride around on a bus to nowhere for 4 hours. On 5/26 I received a confirmation that a credit was issued. After several attempts to address other compensation, I am asking for your help.
