      I was seen while in the hospital. They did not collect any updated information frome or the hospital. The information they had on file at their office was out of date, including mailing address and insurance. They did not attempt to get updated information by calling me or requesting it from the hospital. They sent my bill to collects after ignoring returned mail for a year. Now they refuse to take the bill back from collections and submit to insurance because they say insurance won't pay even though my insurance has stated otherwise.

      Office Visit June 30, 2022 Despite numerous attempts to contact the doctor, his lead nurse, and the office administrator after the office visit no one has ever returned my calls. I was in great pain after the doctor visit and attempted to talk with the doctor or his staff on several occasions without success. I left messages with the receptionist that answered the office phone that a return call was urgently needed. On one phone call the receptionist said that she would message the nurse to call me back. After being forwarded to the doctor's nurse, I left voice mails in the mailbox for the nurse. I never received a return call. After the kidney stone finally passed in mid July I attempted to contact the doctor as instructed in my office visit to arrange to get the stone tested. No return call to multiple attempts. I finally started calling the accounts receivable department when I started receiving invoices. I left my first message on that line on October 3, 2022. I finally took the kidney stone to my General Practitioner in December and they arranged for the follow up test separately.After receiving a collection notice from CCC I called the business again and reached the accounts receivable person that remembered speaking to me. She informed me that her supervisor had sent my account to collections without her knowledge. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told that she would not talk to customers.I do not feel that Alaska Urology provided adequate customer service for follow up care and therefor I am disputing the bill for services provided. I need the help of the BBB to get the attention of the business so they will have a conversation about my complaint. I am not asking for refund of the payments made by my insurance company. I am asking for a refund of the $57.20 charged to me for the incomplete service and extremely poor customer service by this firm.I have enclosed a partial call log for calls that I made to the firm.Thank you,
