      On 8/10/22 My 4.5 mo. EM up started throwing up and retching, as if something was stuck in his throat. We took ****** to Pet Emergency Treatment, **** X-rays showed a small rock in his intestine. They said he needed surgery to remove the rock, ************************************* would perform surgery, and keep ****** overnight. We paid in full, and picked ****** up on Thursday afternoon. Was told all went well. On the following morning (Friday 8/19/22) , ****** was extremely sluggish, and was so emaciated that he couldnt stand. Spoke to Pet ER several times regarding concerns. We were told this was normal after the surgery he went through. Saturday (8/20/22) no improvement. Pet ER said to bring him back. The clinic started IV fluids, and would keep him overnight. We paid in full again. . At 2am **************** called, and said ****** needed immediate surgery .He stated the sutures from previous surgery were not holding, and his intestine was dying. ****** would die if surgery was not done immediately. Quoted us another 10K for this surgery. No payment plan was offered, no options given. We were told a vet tech would cover the surgery costs, (at an extremely discounted rate or no fee at all) But we had to sign ****** over to the vet tech. It would then be her dog, and we were not to contact anyone regarding ****** after that. It was 2:30 in the morning, either we euthanize our baby or give him a chance with surgery. So we verbally agreed, with broken hearts. How can this be ok??? After a few hours sleep, my husband and I awoke, and could not believe what just happened. And now we cant even find out if our baby survived surgery or not?! We were given no options at all. Why wouldnt they try to work with us. And 10K??? We are crushed, and angry. At this point, all we can hope for is that our sweet boy made it through surgery, and is being well taken care of . This cant be ok?. ******************* (Office Manager) and *********************** (Med Director) only ignored our calls and pleas for help.
