    I dropped off my vehicle after waiting a few weeks for my appointment. I had to call weekly for updates on my vehicle as they only had one "senior tech" capable of working on my car for a few hours here an there every other week. After over a month I requested another update, finally they let me know the $1K of work they told me would fix the problem did nothing, and they cannot figure out my car so I should take it to the dealership. They still charged me over $900 when the work did not fix the original issue and they never actually knew what the problem was. They refused to work with me on the price after I had to rent a car for a month and a half waiting on them to never fix it. I now have to drive an unsafe vehicle to the dealership.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Wowthanks for not charging me for the work that did nothing. You guys spent over a month and did not fix the car. It went into limp mode and I had to hazardously drive below the speed limit to even have it REACH the mechanic you recommended. You guys were beyond rude. My issue is that you diagnosed an issue, and I have no way to trust your mechanical knowledge/expertise on it the original issue. For all I know that was never the issue in the first place. Lastly, learn how to use spell check when addressing customers and clients. How can I trust people that are not literate to fix my car??? Reading is free, the spelling of my name is right there and yet you make MULTIPLE spelling errors. Clearly you guys dont have a high standard of service. Maybe this is why youre trying to sell the business.

    I brought my vehicle to Eagle River Automotive for repairs on 24 January 2023 and they were working with me and my warranty company CarShield on making the repairs. After several days of back and forth with the warranty company, the repairs were completed by Eagle River Automotive but they sent a completed invoice to CarShield showing the work was complete prior to getting authorization for the repairs. By doing so, I the consumer was liable, "on the hook" to pay for the entire bill because as the repair shop knows and has worked with Carshield in the past, they do not reimburse for work that has not been authorized. The other issue and bigger issue I had was that Eagle River Automotive forged my signature and I have a copy of the signature. Ultimately Eagle River Automotive admitted to forging my signature and submitting the invoice to Carshield. Because I found out that Eagle River Automotive forged my signature, they called me and asked if I would be willing to pay for half of the repairs and not deal with Carshield. Not knowing what to do and afraid they may do something with my vehicle, after all they forged my signature, I assume they are capable of anything before I got back to the shop, I agreed I would pay something. When I got to the shop I made it clear I was not happy with the fact that my signature was forged and said I would pay my deductible and that was it. I paid $100 and left with my vehicle. While they were trying to justify forging my signature I was told that they have done this several times in the past just to "speed the process up". I am letting you know because had I not found out that my signature was forged, I would have been liable for the entire bill simply because they didn't submit the request for work through CarShield and had forged my signature on the invoice. I found Eagle River Automotive is an approved business on the BBB website and feel this type of behavior needs to be addressed with the business.
