    I've been a professional real estate investor for over a decade. I've worked with many contractors in multiple states on various projects, from light remodeling to major renovations. I've given the ones that deserve it repeat work and fired the ones that don't. ***** ****** of CT Remodeling is one of the worst contractors I've ever made the mistake of hiring. A simple, small house remodel in ********* that should have taken no more than 60 days dragged on for well over six months with a bare minimum of work accomplished before I fired him. If I hadn't been too busy with other projects elsewhere in ********* and the valley, I'd have terminated the contract sooner.***** would avoid my calls, not respond to text messages, and give me a litany of excuses about his personal finances, his loss of income, attorney costs for a bankruptcy filing, etc. I'd have to call him from different phone numbers to catch him unaware only to hear yet another excuse, such as having to take smaller jobs all while he's months behind in mine. Along the way, he'd give you just enough hope to think he'd finally get to work only to not show up to the job site at all. When I finally gave him his last chance, he went off fishing and never picked up the keys from my agent to enter the house (I had the locks changed on him in anticipation of firing him), so I knew he didn't show up.Learn from my experience -- if you want to pay someone to not show up, if you want to lose thousands in holding costs on a job going nowhere, if you want a steady stream of excuses, then ***** is your guy. However, if you want a professional contractor to give you quality work, to successfully manage a project, and do what he says he's going to do, look anywhere else.
