    Cold Spot Feeds in *********, ******, denied my request for a cash refund for a returned item, instead issuing a store credit. Despite my polite insistence and reference to consumer rights, the store employee seemed confused. Upon returning the store credit and reiterating my request for a cash refund, the manager accused me of rudeness and unjustly banned me from the premises.While I understand that my disagreement with the store's initial refund solution may have been perceived as confrontational, I maintain that I was respectful and assertive throughout the interaction. At no point did I engage in any behavior that could be considered rude, such as using disrespectful language or creating a hostile environment. Thereto, unfairly banning me from the store. It has come to my attention that I am not the only customer who has been forced to accept store credit against their wishes, suggesting a systemic issue with the store's practices. This raises concerns about potential non-compliance with consumer protection laws and discriminatory practices, especially considering I am a ************************* whose first language is not English.Desired Resolution:1) A formal apology from Cold Spot Feeds acknowledging their mishandling of the situation and the unjust ban.2) Immediate reversal of the store ban, allowing me unrestricted access to their services.3) A thorough review and revision of their refund policy to ensure compliance with fair business practices and consumer protection laws, including providing cash refunds upon request.4) Notification to all customers who were previously forced to accept store credit of their right to a cash refund and the option to exchange their store credit for cash.This complaint seeks to address unfair treatment and advocate for equitable business practices that respect consumer rights and avoid discrimination. Moreover, ****** does not have many pet stores. The refund practices are unfair within the limited market options.
