    Went in to rent a one man auger from Independent Rental and all they had was the tow behind so i paid and reserved it. Towing the Auger to ********** going 45 miles on the highway is an unsafe option so brought in my 5x10 trailer to strap it down, this trailer was bought at Lowes brand new this year. Their maintenance person said he can't let it go on the trailer strapped down it is meant to be towed, that was all the reasoning he said. He didn't understand that towing to ********** at 45 miles an hour is also unsafe and if you go faster than 45 miles the tow behind auger will flip. So, i ended up walking out after i paid for the reservation the night before, i did have them refund the money but it will take a few days for the transaction to clear. Maybe if they explain how to get to North Pole going 45mph without hitting the highway or maybe if the front desk was on the same page as the maintenance person or asked him instead of waiting till day of pickup and the maintenance person not releasing this, very disappointing. I went to ********** to get the One-Man Auger that they had in stock and not the tow behind and did not give the run around very helpful. I will not recommend Independent Rental to anyone.
