About 2-3 months ago, I went to pick my son up from daycare. Upon picking him up, I noticed he had a bruise and some scrapes under his eye. I asked my son what happened and he didn't want to talk about it. I then asked his teacher who provided a written report which stated my son had a snowball thrown at his face by one of his friends. A few days after, I asked my son again what happened to his face, at which time, he told me that his friend pushed his into some ice. I struggled taking my child back to this location, as I felt they lied about the situation, and spoke to myself and my ex-wife, who was also present, very rudely. I spoke to one of the owners about 2 weeks ago, as I was debating on taking my son back. I also found issue with the receptionist, ****, as she has seen me on multiple occasions, and refuses to speak or even say hello. The owner I spoke with that day was very understanding, and admitted that we should have been notified, and the issue with **** would addressed. She then stated that we could finish out this month (Jan), and that would be our 30 day notice Today, Jan *******, I spoke with **** and ***** ******. ***** is the other owner of the business. ***** was rude upon walking in and meeting, and then kept accusing my 4 yr old son of lying about what happened to him. She claimed she had spoken to 2 of her staff about the situation that took place. It should be noted that the staff member who filled out the statement stated that she did not see what happened to my child when we questioned her.

I wanted to add to my response, that the only reason my ex-wife paid her portion is because the business charged her card that she put on file, and according to her, she had not authorized them to charge it.

First off, I'd like to apologize for the delayed response; but, the first I saw of this notice was last night.  Anyway, I am attaching documentation regarding this case for your review.  Mr. ****** is an extremely chauvinistic individual with little regard for any of the female individuals within our organization and in my 35 years working in the court system have I rarely encountered anyone quite as rude as he was, especially as I had never met him before 1/29.  The situation where he refers to his son being injured was a minor mishap as stated in the teacher memo; however, almost 6 weeks later, after he received notice that he was required to provide a 30-day notice, did he all of a sudden start this rampage that our teachers are liars.  The lead teacher in his son's classroom is an attorney and so is her husband, so I sincerely doubt she would allow a made up story about something as small as one child throwing snow at another.   He simply does not want to abide by the contract he signed and pay for the remainder of his 30-day notice.  His ex-wife has already paid her portion so the remaining balance is all his.  Other than the information I have attached, there is nothing more to say on this subject as I was extremely put off by his condescending demeanor and tone during our conversation  on 1/29.  The situation between this mom and dad and their decision to either give 30-days notice or not went back-and-forth for over a week when we finally just assumed the 30-day notice given on 1/20/24 even though it was never given in writing as we requested.  If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me at Gymnastics Inc.

I am rejecting this response because:
In speaking to the first owner, it was very clear that I was unhappy with their staff and the way the situation with my son, WHO WAS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES PROVIDED,  no assumption needed, was handled. That owner, forgive me as I don't know her name, was very sympathetic and understood where I was coming from in regards to the situation. She stated that I could finish out the month, and that would be the end of the contract. Seems to me, that the other owner is very hands off with her business, as she had no idea who my son was, and is all about the money to support the business. To insinuate that a 4 yr old child is lying about the situation that happened to them, even though HIS story has remained the same since asking him, is beyond me.
    Sincerely,

    ***** ******
