    Touched by Angels, and its owner, **** *********, engages in deceptive practices. She does not identify how many workers she will employ, nor does she give estimates before or during an assignment. She takes advantage of unoccupied homes and does work not requested. When I disputed the $2021 charge for cleaning a duplex with brand new carpeting in the living room, cleaned appliances and cupboards (I did them myself), new kitchen sink and countertops, new paint throughout, and freshly shampooed bedroom carpets, even providing photographic evidence of the state of the home prior to her arrival, she conveniently said the photos did not show the areas that needed cleaning and that the carpets had dust requiring heavy vacuuming. I requested an itemized bill and broke down what she charged me; here are a few examples: 68 minutes to clean a 2' x 4' window, which meant $62.33 per window, 6 hours each to clean two empty bathrooms (1 sink, 1 toilet, 1 bath/shower) for a total of $660, 5 hours to reclean the kitchen cabinets (that I had already cleaned) for a total of $275, and 4 hours to clean a laundry room closet for a total of $220. I also provided her with links to the numerous reviews and complaints against her, saying her practices are deceptive and offered her a fair settlement of $1150, with a breakdown of allowancea and time-stamped photos proving state of house when she arrived. She fought everything. I'm tired of dealing with her so I advised my contractor of her unprofessional practices and he was horrified--he said he'll never recommend her again--and I'm writing reviews to alert others. I truly hope she will reconsider the way she does business and simply do better for other customers. I also hope others will read this and demand estimates before starting work.

    I have used Touched by Angeles for over twenty years for my home and have always been impressed with their attention to detail. When I stared a BNB they were my first choice and many guests comment about how ************** is. They are always on time and available when I need them. Best cleaners around.
