      I bought a boiler from All American July 2023. A hose drained in my utility sink. ** said it was bid that way. We never discussed it. AA said it should go to the P-trap, then said it was illegal. I suggested the laundry drain. Pipes leaked. ** denied responsibility. They only worked on the other ends of those pipes. I said twisting a pipe may affect both ends. The owner was defensive. At our insistence, they refunded one repair and did not charge the other. We were sold a membership package. Nov. 2024 the boiler quit. I called AA. ** said the package was a retainer for other plumbing needs. The boiler didn't need annual service but will cost $230 for a ten-minute test to show a shot control board. Tech notes describe a faulty part under warranty. We have to pay shipping and labor, over $800 additional. Over $1,000.00 to fix a faulty part under warranty. I felt scammed. I called twice for the owner. I work in healthcare. When he called, I was with a patient and asked if I could call him back. He said, "No! You've called several times demanding a call! This is it! What do you want?" I asked if the charge was reasonable. He said, "Yes! What do you want us to do? It's not our fault!" The on-hold recordings about integrity, refer to a lemon policy. He was defensive and said, "It's NOT a lemon!" The tech describes a faulty part, on a $15,000 boiler after a year. What's a lemon? Is it reasonable to pay over $1,000 annually, and more after warranty? The Navien website says service annually. I called Navien. They said ** should have registered the unit. Parts under warranty have no shipping charge. They offered $240.00 toward what they called outrageous labor for 2hrs max. They called AA. ** sent a proposal minus shipping, I have to apply for the rebate. AA won't. Savings for doing AA's homework is over $320. ** should honor their on-hold recordings. May they find success through customer satisfaction. Until then, be prepared to do **'s homework and deal with a rude owner.
