    I booked 4 people on Adventure Bound Alaska's ************** Fjord tour. They emailed me on 7/24/23 saying the trip is cancelled due to the captain being sick, even though our trip wasn't until 8/17/23. They stated they would refund my $806.24 to my card but never did. I've emailed twice with no follow-up and I've tried calling but the phone number does not seem to be connected.

    On April 26, 2023 I booked and paid $403.12 for an Alaska Bound Adventure cruise to ***** Arm Fjord that was to take place on June 23, 2023. On the evening of June 22, the night before the scheduled trip, I got an email and phone message telling me that the trip had been cancelled. The email said I would receive a full refund on my credit card, but it might take 30 days to appear. It's now been 60 days, and there's no response from the company to my follow-up emails. I've tried to call, but get a message saying the voice mailbox is full. Now I see there have been articles in the Juneau Empire newspaper reporting that many people now have this same complaint. ******************************************************************************************************************************** the company was once legitimate, but now it seems to be just crooked. I would very much like my refund, since the trip I paid for never happened..

    - 2/21/23. We booked a cruise for visiting relatives with Adventure Bound for 7/7/23.- 7/06/23. Received email reminder of trip from Adventure Bound.- 7/7/23. We and relatives went to dock for cruise as instructed by Adventure Bound. Several other businesses in area said they did not think AB had made any trips during 2023 summer.- 7/7/23. Discovered email from Adventure Bound, dated 7/6/23, apologizing for cancelling trip and saying refund had been issued.- 7/25/23. No refund had been posted to our credit card issuer so, on their advice, we initiated a claim.- 8/2/23. Sent documentation to **** of America, as requested.- 8/9/23. Received letter from **** of America saying claim was denied because claim was filed more than 90 days after charge was posted to account.- Please note: - we had no way of knowing that Adventure Bound was not going to provide the service for which it had charged us on 2/21/23 until they did not provide that service, as promised, on 7/7/23. - article in Juneau Empire, 7/21/232, noting complaints from other customers whose Adventure Bound excursions were cancelled and no refunds were received. - Multiple attempts to reach Adventure Bound by phone all unsuccessful. Recorded message from telephone service provider states that number provided by Adventure Bound "is not a working number."

    On June 25, 2023, I booked 2 ea of ***** Arm Fjord Cruise Sunday, August 27 2023 @ 8:00am - 6:00pm. I booked my airline tickets to accommodate this reservation. Adventure Bound sent a cancellation email July 24th. The note says We are very sorry. We have to cancel our ***** Arm tour. The captain is sick. I tried to call & they didnt answer.The only other tour operator is booked on Aug 27th. My ************* taken time off of work & do not have the ability to come sooner.I contacted Travel ****** & was informed, Thank you for reaching out to Travel ******. We are so sorry this happened. This has been an issue with this company the entire summer so far. They have cancelled every single departure this year, with little notice, citing many different reasons. They have also moved out of their office space here in ******, and have disconnected their phone. It has caused quite a bit of frustrationThis company is committing fraud by accepting money when they know they cant fulfill the service. adventure Bounds email said theyd issue a credit but its not been received. They should have to pay damages for rescheduling fees.Please block their website & prevent them from advertising further.
