    I had a fishing trip scheduled during my honeymoon. I a veteran and Wildland firefighter, I saved up money all fire season last year to take a guided fishing trip at the end of my stay in ******. Come a couple day before the fishing trip, I hadnt heard from the lodge about who the guide is, what river we will be fishing on, and we were supposed to start at 5am the day off. ******, the owner, called me at 8 am the day of my trip, and told me they had forgotten about my trip, to call them back and they could see what they can do. I was staying in ******, which they knew, 3 hours away. I tried calling them back multiple times, sent multiple emails with no response. I spoke to ***** at the end of the day, when they finally answered, she asked if I could reschedule for the next day. I told her that we couldnt because we were leaving in a day. She said she would talk to ****** and ******, to see what they could do. I didnt hear anything back, I called the next couple of days and left voicemails but still didnt hear anything. On Friday I called and left a voicemail saying if I didnt hear anything back that I would be forced to take other action. Instantly I got a call back, ****** gaslighted me, blamed me, said he had heard of no such email and blamed me the entire conversation, and refused to help in anyway. Lots of good lodges and guide services in the area. Definitely do not to business with salmon catcher.

    We booked an all inclusive stay from july twenty fifth through the thirtieth of july. We paid ******* For a fully service cabin with the full bedroom, living room, kitchen an A washer and dryer... When we got there, we were informed by ******. The owner that there was a change and she showed us our new lodging, which was literally a bedroom with a bath.. It was stationed right off the kitchen and eating area. It was very loud area.. We didn't even have a dresser for our clothes or a chair to sit in.. I told her this is not what I paid for and i'm not happy.She said that she would talk to her husband and that they would make an adjustment.. I do have that in a message that she sent me.. She never did

    I filed a complaint against salmon catcher lodge # ******** I guess the main thing that I should have said is we had a contract and they broke it.. We were supposed to get a full service cabin, and I do believe they put us an employee lodging..

    Cabin/room assignments can not guaranteed as we often have the need to shift clients due to the full kitchen in some cabins allowing guest who are NOT on our meal plan to have a kitchen to cook in.    The ******** WERE moved to another room (with efficiency kitchen, refrigerator microwave, hot plate, dishes cups etc).  When ****** expressed her concern with the room change.  I did explain the reason we had to move her to another room at which point  she never mentioned anything with regard to seating or dressers.   The following day, when she again expressed her upset with regard to room change, she was then offered another cabin (full kitchen) that was vacated that morning,  SHE  REFUSED TO MOVE, and asked that if we could get her and her husband on another halibut day, she's be happy.   We were able to modify her itinerary to include a second halibut fishing trip (normally a $100 uncharge per seat). At the end of her stay, upon check-out, there was no talk about the room or any other complaints and the ******** seemed very happy with their stay, so we were surprised by this complaint.   We did cover the cost of the additional halibut fishing trip and did not pass that cost onto them.    We would like to consider this complaint resolved.

    I am rejecting this response because: Once again there was nothing but her name, with no response or offer. I was hoping ****** Was willing to give us compensation, as me and her discussed. It would be definitely the right thing to do..

    I'm sorry.I put the wrong number in it.I didn't see her response... But bottom line, I don't agree with it. I sent you the message where she said she was going to talk to her husband about paying us a difference ..and they did offer us a cabin,  But that was 3 days into our 5 days stay and it was raining, and I said, we're not going to move now.. They knew we weren't happy, but we made the best of our dream vacation under the bad circumstance.. When they tell you they're going to put you in a certain place with all the amenities that you wanted. And then at the last minute upon arrival, they move you into an efficiency, one room with a bathroom with not even a dresser or a chair to sit on. It's a big difference from it, a roomy cabin, with all the amenities of a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, a full size kitchen, a barbecue, a patio. Where you can sit, And barbecue and they know this. **** knows we talked enough before our arrival.. What a disappointment that they're handling, This way
