I went to this business, I provided them with my insurance, telling them they they have to get if from the veterans affairs. I am 100 percent disabled. The lady ****, said she would , I told her, I am not paying for the visit, and to make sure the VA will cover it. Well they didn't and 6 months later, I am getting a bill for August. Her boss also recommended, I go 1 time a week, for how ever long, while ****, is the one who said I did not have too. I feel they are traying to extort money from me. I am disabled and the Veterans affair, covers all my medical. They are no equipped to help a war veteran in anyway. Thank you.

We are sorry that our services are not covered by your insurance and that the counselor that you communicated with was unaware of the complexities of VA insurance. Our agency strives to provide services to everyone in the community and, as such, accepts almost all major insurances. VA insurance is such a challenge for community non-profit organizations to work with that none in our area accept this insurance. I do apologize that this detail was unknown by the counselor you spoke with. While it is not her area of expertise, I do understand that she did need to know this, and I can assure you that she now does and that it will not happen again. I do know at least one individual therapist in the ***** area that can work with VA insurance, and I am happy to refer you to them if you wish.

I am rejecting this response because:

the business,  did not mention, the bill and how it will be paid. I do not want to get stuck with this bill.

I am sorry that you are dissatisfied. Every person who accesses our services signs paperwork before the assessment that acknowledges costs of services, and that each person is ultimately responsible for payment of servcies if their insurance does not cover or if they are no longer insured at the time of service. You are of course free to proceed however you wish.

I am rejecting this response because:

The business needs to be shut down, for they have contradicted themselves,  from the first response. I stand firm, by not paying a bill, they charged me after 6 months of service, and fully knowing before , signing any paperwork,  I let them know I was veteran, 100 percent  disabled,  and had no money to pay them.

    Sincerely,
