I booked a single-day tour of the Arctic Circle on March 28th on Expedia software. Still, I did not receive any contact information from the Alaska Aurora Adventures company, which should supply the service before departure on that day. On the day of departure, we waited for themm to show up in front of the hotel fifteen minutes early, but after waiting for about an hour, it didn't happen. We contacted them and Expedia, waiting for a solution, but they seem to keep passing the buck to each other and making up facts. The Alaska Aurora Adventures said they tried their best to contact me but sent a confirmation email to an incorrect email address that I didn't receive; other than that, they had my cell phone number and sent me an advertisement text message but didn't make any attempt to call or text me. They could have even checked in front of the hotel on the day of departure and it wouldn't have taken long, we waited for an hour and no one showed up. I paid my money but did not receive any service, and I wasted a day in our limited travel program as we could not book any other Fairbanks activities that day. My trip turned out to be very unpleasant. In addition, this company has a very bad attitude toward their consumers; every time I call them to try to say something, the man just hangs up and says USE EMAIL! Also, they lie a lot as a way of trying to get out of their responsibilities; they said at the very beginning that they tried to email and call me, but I didn't receive any contact. I know they have my cell phone number because I received the ad they sent me, but there were no calls or texts to confirm my trip. After that, they said they never got my phone info, which is ridiculous. In the most recent email, they blamed Expedia and identified them as lying; I don't know what the truth is.
