    On June 7, 2023 I booked a fishing charter with Blue Ice Alaska Charters for August 22, 2023. On June 16th I emailed them that I needed to cancel the trip due to unexpected back surgery. I included a copy of the paid invoice in the amount of $1,374.75. That same day they emailed me back to confirm the reservation was cancelled and a refund would be issued. On October 31st I notified them that I had not received the refund. On November 7th they apologized for the inconvenience and would check their records and get back to me. I emailed them again on November 13th and 27th. I also texted them on the 27th with a copy of the original invoice and their reply confirming the cancellation and that a refund would be issued. I also have called them several times with no response. I sent another email on January 28, 2024 to inform them that I would be reporting them to the Alaska Better Business Bureau.

    Hello, The complaint was from a client who was refunded but did not see the refund on her credit card statement. I have enclosed the proof that I refunded her and proof that she acknowledged that she received the refund.

    The response from the business is not completely accurate. I did a medical cancellation in June but did not receive the refund until January. This was after numerous communications with them. However, I am pleased that the issue has been resolved.
