    On August 10, 2024, I purchased two knives from Skagway Golden Bear with the verbal guarantee of the paperwork authentication of the knives to follow by email that day or the next. I didnt open the well wrapped knives until the trip was over because cruise ships keep knives for you to pick up when disembarking. One authentication was sent. Upon opening the packages, I discovered they wrapped the wrong item. And the authentication sent didnt match the other item which had no authentication. So I didnt receive a complete set of anything and received one knife that wasnt even bought. I called and e mailed. No response after the first few days. I finally mailed the items back to them. They refuse to reimburse my credit card. I can send copies of my letter, the last email I sent, the post office receipt for mailing the knives back and the post office proof they picked up the items.

    We bought a bracelet by artist *********************** at the GOLDEN BEAR, *** in *******, ****** on 09/05/2023 for $656.75. The employee, who he said his name was "****", said he would shorten the bracelet by one link, so as to fit my wife's wrist better. He would then take that removed link, attach it to a necklace, and then ship both the necklace and the bracelet to us within 2 to 3 weeks. Well, it has now been close to 8 weeks, and we still have not seen the bracelet or the necklace !! I waited this long to report this because I believed everything was above board.......wrong !! I have reported this situation to the ******* ************ however they said they really couldn't do anything except report it to the ******* ******************** I've also....just today...put in a "disputed transaction" option with my credit card company. I tried numerous times in the past weeks to phone the Golden Bear, but no-one answers the phone listed on their business card. Also no replies to emails......

    The merchant FINALLY got in touch with me and sent me the bracelet in question. He did NOT send me the chain as promised. I wish to now discontinue this complaint against the vendor, as I am thoroughly tired of wasting my time. I would however request that some type of notice be broadcast about this merchant in the BBB.
