When signing into the hotel the guest signs a registration card, initializing by our policies, providing contact information, and going over the rate for the stay with the accompanying taxes. On the registration card there is a required initial by the policy that states the guest will not remove the window screens and if found having done so a $150 charge will be applied to the guest reservation. ***** took the window screen out so he could pass items back and forth between his room and the parking lot where his truck was located. ***** was caught doing so and it was explained to him that the fee will be charged to his account.

I am rejecting this response because:
The Manager told me that she wouldnt charge me.
What I think happened was a racial profiling.
They got mad because I had some marijuana in my bag and its was strong smelling. They accused me of smoking in the room. When I told them I would never smoke in my room, because I would never want to pay a deposit for smoking in the room. I told them they could come in the room and see that I didnt smoke in the room they said thats ok but could I put my bag in my truck I said yes. I think they was mad about the marijuana and punished me for it. I called them and asked them why did they charge my card after the manager told me she would and they told me it was because I broke the screen because it was a screen that once you take it out its broken and I told them that was a lie and that I was a maintenance man and I aint never heard of that and that I took pictures before I left and that the screen was perfect when I left.
think that a business should have to keep their word.

    Sincerely,
