      I've been using the services of Arrow Disposal for a year or so and never had a problem but this week would be the third week they haven't picked up my trash and I paid the bill, its every 3 months. I'd like a refund for the past 2 weeks I haven't received services. Because I paid $62.25 in Jan. 3. I usually only pay $60.45 for 3 months though. Everything I wrote in the first comment section though. I need my trash picked up like I pay for. I have no means to take it to a local dump site, that's why I require their services but I'm not going to be paying for something when they do not pick up on the days they're suppose to I have trash being stored in the trunk of my car waiting for them to pick up my trash so I can basically fill it up with the trash that's been waiting to go out I'll probably have to bring the trash right back down to the road once it has been picked up because I've been having to store the trash that I've had to take out of my house.

      We live in Jasper County and pay upfront for a year of trash service provided by Arrow Disposal Services. We live off of CR ****, and since last year Arrow has not been picking up our trash every Wednesday as contracted by the county. Instead, we end up having to contact our supervisor, and Arrow picks up on Thursday or Friday, which is unacceptable because trash is piled up by then on the side of the road. According to our supervisor, our beat is the only beat having this issue. I have started reaching out to Arrow directly for a resolution, but the service manager will not call me back, and the owner will not call our supervisor back either. Last week we didn't have our trash picked up until Friday, and that was only after I called them Wednesday, and Thursday complaining and requesting a call back from the manager. This company and the owner should be embarrassed about the level of service they are providing. Clearly, this company is in breach of contract and doesn't care because they already have our money.

      After checking with our customer ********************** department, we found two occasions when ************** called to complain, 12/29/22 and 01/04/23. ************** is correct, his service day is Wednesday and we had a new driver on his route. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused ************** and we will strive to do better. The local manager will ride with the new driver for the next few weeks in order to insure proper service to all residents of Jasper ****************************** payment information mentioned by ************** is incorrect. Arrow Disposal Service, *** has been picking up garbage in Jasper County since 2009 and we have always been paid monthly, in arrears. The residents may pay the County annually, but the contractor gets paid about 30 days after we have provided the service.

      As for ************** accusation of the owner not returning his supervisor's call, I am the owner and I have only received one call from ********************* and it did not pertain to ***************

       

      I will close by saying again that I apologize for ************** inconvenience and we will strive to do better.

      Today, January 2,2022 my garbage was picked up shortly after 11AM. ***** then proceeded to the home across the street from my home and their garbage was collected. As the truck drove away garbage flew from the back of the truck into the roadway. Passing traffic then scattered the garbage. I saw the truck coming back down the roadway and flagged him down. I told him what happened and to pick up the garbage. He got out picked up very little made comments I could not hear and drove away leaving my neighbors yard and the road a mess.

      ACTION TAKEN: The employee driving on the day reported has been counseled on better customer interaction, however, I want to bring to both ****************** attention and the neighbor that the contract states: That all garbage must be bagged" before being placed in the cart. This prevents instances such a this from occurring. In addition, each cart has a white sticker in the lid that instructs how to prepare residents trash for collection.  I apologize for the inconvenience, and we will strive to do better. Thank you.

      Arrow disposal charged me a $5.00 finance charge back in October of 2021. I never paid this because I was unsure of what "the finance charge" was for. This $5.00 finance charge has grown to $20.00 and I made an error and forgot to look for a bill in my email resulting in my trash can being picked up on 11/9/2022. If I would have paid my bill for this quarter on time I would still have my trash can and this $5.00 fee would be continuing to add up. according to the customer ********************** rep my account has been delinquent for over a year, but yet you state you pick cans up after 60 days delinquent. That has not be the case for my account and besides that how was I supposed to know my can would be taken? My account was late over 90 days this time last year and you never came to get the can. When you originally billed me for this $5.00 fee it was not on my statement as a late fee, it stated finance charge. As a consumer how I am supposed to know what fees you charge? I have not been provided with a fee schedule nor is one available on your website. I guess we are supposed to assume these things. You make mention of a contract you hold with ******* County. They don't pay you I do, and I don't have a contract with Arrow Disposal and I was never notified on any terms of service etc etc. I have been 5 weeks without my trash can and I figure the weekly rate is $4.65, which is a total of $23.25 plus the weeks of service I did have a can totals $ ***** that's assuming I have my can back to receive trash pick up the last two weeks out of December. The late fee for this past quarter $5.00 plus the $***** for trash pick is $42.20 this is the only amount I am willing to pay arrow disposal. I am not paying for the weeks I did not have trash pickup as other arrangement had to be made. I am not paying for you to bring a trash can back out to my house, a trash can that is necessary for trash pickup.You can take it or leave it, there are other options out there.

      Our company has an exclusive contract to collect residential solid waste in ******* County. Rates are charged in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

      The customer has not paid the full balance due on her account since December of 2021.

      Late fees were applied, and the Arrow Disposal Service container was removed for non-payment.

      As a good faith gesture, I have instructed our customer ********************** representatives to remove all late fees and the container redelivery fee from the customers account. If the customer desires to reinstate *************************** will be charged the delinquent balance due of $60.45 for the current quarter (Oct/Nov/Dec 2022).

      As standard procedure, all future charges are billed quarterly in advance of service. Delinquent accounts may be assessed a $5 late charge. If the customers container is removed for non-payment again in the future, a $25 container redelivery fee will be applied.

      We are scheduled for trash pick up every Friday. They might pick it up once a month at best. I have called customer ********************** several times. No one will provide me any explanation as to why this is happening.

      Good afternoon, after investigating the customers claim with our customer ********************** department, we found only one record of a complaint call logged on 12/02/2022.  The complaint could be valid because we had a temporary driver for a brief period who could have missed the stop. 

       

      I have alerted the local manager to check this route and we are giving the customer 1 month's credit ($20.15)

       

      It should also be further noted that Booger Hollow is a private road, not maintained by the county or the city.

      Arrow Disposal Service is not her service provider. She would need to file her complaint with her current service provider. I will consider this complaint closed as Ms. ********* is not a valid customer.

      I paid for 3 months of trash service at my house and it took them 7 weeks to deliver my trash can. Now they tell me they will give me 4 weeks of credit and the other two weeks when I didn't have service I just owe them for it. That's not the way to run a business. I shouldn't have to pay for a service that wasn't provided.

      Trash was not picked up on regularly scheduled date. On July 13 2022 for some unknown reason, our trash was not picked up. Our normal trash day is Wednesday, but on this day for some reason (which they still can't not give me an answer to) it was not picked up. As soon as this was realized I called, and was told they would put in a work order and contact the manager find out what happened and have someone come and take care of it. It’s now Monday July 18 (almost time for another weekly pickup) and my trash is still sitting on the side of the road, so I called again asking when will someone be back out to pick up. Got the same answer, told about the work order and would contact manager but the manager doesn’t let them know when they receive the work orders (we’ll how do you even know if they’re being received…probably aren’t and that’s why people are having to wait until they come back the next week (when they usually run) to get their trash picked up. Basically getting the runaround or just getting told something to get “pacified”. Customer service just gives you an answer to get you off the phone, thinking that if they say a work order has been put in, that should satisfy you as a customer. No, my trash is full sitting next to the road; what am I supposed to do with it? They can't answer that. But had the audacity to ask if the trash was in a can…of course! The same as it has been for the past 5 years! Do I now need to start taking pictures of my trash can next to the road on a Tuesday? And having this hot trash sit on the side of the road in a rural part of AL, is not the best scenario. It’s hot, the trash stinks and it causes all kinds of unwanted pests and wild animals to come on the property and tear the trash up (leaving us to clean up the mess)!

      Driver reported that the customers container was not placed within 5 feet of the public roadway for collection as required by our contract with ******* County. Driver stated that the cart was initially placed 20 to 30 feet off the road and therefore it was not collected.

      Regional project manager attempted to contact customer numerous times by phone to discuss the issue but was unable to reach the customer until Friday June 29th. 

      The driver has returned to the site and collected the customers garbage. The cart was placed correctly at the curb at that time.

      The customers waste should be collected on schedule going forward.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 17581193,  being that the trash can was not moved when the driver came back; it seems odd to say that the trash can was placed in the correct spot. However, after having my trash picked up and the trash can being moved almost 100 yards down the road, on the side of the road, almost in traffic and dealing with some unprofessional employees of this company, we will now place our trash can closer to the road (and when said can is blown over or knocked over by heavy trucks passing by, being that we live on main road where large trucks are constantly passing by as well as other vehicles, and there is trash all over the place, we do still expect it to be picked up)...in which this resolution will be satisfactory to me.
