      I would like this to be taken off my credit report. I settled with the company to have the account paid and closed but it hasn't been removed from my credit report.

      I rented a vehicle on 11/18/2023 and returned it on 11/22/2023. I had issues with the tire while on the trip to ***********, ** which caused a safety concern. I informed the company about this and was advised to take the car to a Discount Tire shop or *** boys. I found a Discount Tire store and the tires were checked. I was informed that a valve needed to be replaced and the the tire had been patched incorrectly which was a safety concern. However, today (12/12/2023), I noticed a $50.00 charge pending on my Captial One credit card and called my credit company to report fraudulent activity due to the fact that this company has not reached out to me about charging my credit card. It has been three weeks and if it was an issue this company should have reached out to me after I returned the vehicle. On 11/18/2023, I rented a vehicle which I returned on 11/22/2023.  It has been three weeks since I returned the vehicle, and if there was an issue, the rental company should have reached out to me earlier.

      Good morning ****************,

      I am here to reply to your complaint regarding the $50 credit card charge.  The charge to your card was not for the tire issue on the rental vehicle, but for a SPEEDING citation that you received during your rental period with us.  I have attached a copy of the ticket for your records.  We do not always get these citations in a timely manner from the locations of the occurrence.  At the time of your rental, you are also made aware by the clerk that you may at a later date receive a charge for such violations.  Please accept my apology for the misunderstanding in this matter.
