    Midtown has failed to return my deposit for an apartment that I leased for my daughter (*****). My daughter and I have attempted to resolve this issue however due to their poor communication the issues has yet to be resolved. My daughter lived at this apartment complex since 7/2020. Initially she lived at ******************************************. My husband and I paid $870 deposit to lease this apartment. She moved to another unit ******************************** and we requested the deposit back at that time. However, my daughter was informed the $870 deposit would be transferred to her new apartment and there was no need to pay another deposit. My daughter moved out of ***************************** and we have yet to receive our deposit back. The only form of communication my daughter has received is via email, which Midtown staff rarely checks. I have attempted to contact Midtown, however no one answers the phone nor do they have an answering service. I have attempted to send an email expecting a response, however no one has responded to my email that was sent a week ago. I have no other way to reach leasing office because this complex doesn't make it easy to contact them. We have receipts to show deposit was never applied to first month rent at second apartment *********************. Therefore, $870 deposit is owed back to us. This business has not tried to resolve the issue. My next step is to take legal action. This company may be under the name of Auburn Ventures XXX-XXX-XXXX.
