  My wife and I were encouraged to continue a yearly service plan with this company on the house we moved into which provides two yearly inspections for a reduced rate. During the most recent inspection the service technician sited a leak in piping leading to the hot water heater that in their opinion required the replacement of all the piping for the low low cost of 2300$. They also shut off our gas as is it was unsafe. We brought in another technician for a second opinion and they were furious at the way the technician from AUX tried to manipulate my wife. The total cost for the repairs that were actually needed? Less than 200 dollars. I truly believe that this company employs a predatory business model with the intent of taking advantage of people and/or scaring them into making repairs that are not necessary AND wildly over priced

  Was charged $306.49 for 2 technicians to come to my home to tell me my heat pump contractor was bad. I was told I would be charged $59 for a service call when I contacted the company originally. After the technician diagnosed the problem, I was given a written breakdown of all the issues he had found totaling nearly $3000. I declined service knowing this price was overly inflated. I told the technician that I would get my father or brother to replace the contactor as Im a single mother and cant afford this price. I was told there was still a diagnostic fee and if I signed a membership for $14.99/month, he would wave the callout fee. I ended up paying $306.49 for nothing other than being told the issue.

  Technician did a great job reviewing and assessing the issue but he wasnt provided the equipment to fix our problem. We had blockage in our sewage line and it was overflowing inside. They couldnt come fix the problem until the next day. Not a good situation. They need to ensure techs have equipment needed to do the job.

  Used an annual inspection to declare our system to be dangerous and needed a complete replacement. The estimate was written at $13,000. System had been working without problem, no unusal sounds, no smell of gas or fumes, ********************************************* effectively. Yet he determined that the heat exchanger was rusted out (on this five-year old system). Also said it needed cleaning (I agree here). He said that the discharge line from the condensate pump needed to be re-routed (I concurred on this).We nevertheless agreed to replace the system with a new one of equivalent size. They also sold ** a UV lamp and duct cleaning.The duct cleaning equipment destroyed the **** outlet in our bathroom, and they would NOT repair it, so I had to do that myself. Then they gave us a bill for $16,006.00, stating that out signature was only to acknowledge that the work had been done. I asked then to send me an ITEMIZED bill so I could maybe understand why the cost was so high. They said they would do so, but after several calls to their cunstomer service line, each call was treated like we had never called before.The system worked extremely erratically that night, spontaneously switching itself from A/C to heat and back, would run the temp well above or below the setting. We called them out to fix this, they sent a different tech out who said that some wiring connections were bad and he had corrected the problem. While the erratic operation did improve somewhat, it was still somewhat erratic. Repeated calls finally got them to re-rout the condensate drain broblem, yet I still have condensate puddles under th unit and all across the basement floor to this day. THEN we learned that our account had been financed by ************************** We have yet to receive any info from Service Finance other than letters of *******. No mention is made for a payment schedule or even the interest rate.

  Walter "is" my heating and a/c service technician. AUX is very easy to work with and courtesy is a big plus for them.

  I like everything,was very clean and neat and explained everything.I am glad I have the monthly contract with AUX. I am glad that I can have the same tech come out. because my little Chihuahua baby girl doggy like him. He also takes time to see her a few minutes. AUX is a good company. I would recommend any one to use them.
